Cross handed, huge over swing, Paul is a breath of fresh air and throwing the book of swing fundamentals out of the window. The best golf vlog videos in the world.
Dunbar was one of the first courses I played in Scotland. I learned real quick to remove your hat when indoors, the bar keep was refusing to acknowledge me until I realized I had my hat on. I thank him for restoring my faith in manners. your videos bring back memories.
The "that's gonna be us one day" with colt got me in all my feels. A phenomenal friend and man to take this trip with. I hope you two play when you are old again someday.
Erik talking around the 12:50 mark about how everyone wants to play so and so courses and theres so manny others that are great is exactly what i wanna do when i finally travel to scotland. I dont want to play the big names (old course besides). I just wanna travel around and if a course looks fun; stop in and just tee it up. I think that is just pure golf at that point. No expecations, just let it fly and enjoy the time. Looking forward to it
About 4 years ago, I joined Dunbar as a country member, seeing how I live on the other side of the planet. I used to travel all around Scotland playing different courses but decided to join a club and since I usually stay in East Lothian, Dunbar was my pick. Now when I come to Scotland on my annual golf outing, I have this wonderful, challenging course to play. So I may play it 10 or 12 times a year and for the annual dues, it is well worth it. It has some absolutely cracking holes and is always in the best of shape. In addition everyone on the staff is great and it is just a perfect way to spend my golf holiday.
Such a great storyteller Erik. I watch your Adventure VLOG’s multiple times and still hear or see something new every time. Appreciate you taking us along sir.
These vlogs have to shown to the general public on TV, it is imperative that a TV deal is struck, the history is fascinating and will only promote the gam and more importantly you as a documentarist!! Its almost "Attenboroughesque"!!! Love these wonderful stories!! and of course these amazing courses!!
Erik, I could say this on dang near every video you post, but thank you so much for sharing your journey through life via the game of golf with us all. Just when I think you're videos can't get better along comes another one that just knocks my socks off. Your passion for the game and the people and places you share is infectious. You have deepened my love of golf and I can't wait for the Minnesota weather to warm up so I can hit the links once again. So again, thank you. I hope some day our paths will cross, and hoping it is someplace as wonderful as Dunbar appears to be.
Erik, having just discovered you, have to say you make some of the finest golf content in TH-cam. The athmosphere, comradery and pure joy of golfing comes across in all of your videos like no other. You also seem very down to earth and humble as a person, which makes it a pleasure to follow your golf journey. Episodes and series like these make me look forward to my next round of golf even more, if that's possible. Greetings from Finland and keep up the amazing work!
Awesome again Eric. You say it is your one and only time, it is a pilgrimage . You enjoy the game and the history too much. I think you will return. There is so much more to do and see. Ahhhh, and then, a whole new world.......Ireland!
@Erik Anders Lang -- This series is fantastic. Thanks for all the work that goes into this. For us golf fans it's not just a great way to see the courses of Scotland, but to see them in the way you bring them to us. Great story telling. Makes me think about the foursome I'd like to go with to Scotland some day. Please keep up the great work.
Wow! What a really great video! All your vids are really inspiring and bring a lot more than just visual content, thru deep reflexions and good laughs and smile, can't never get enough of them!
Played here just about 4 months ago as the last course on a 9 course tour...we had just been beaten up by Muirfield the day before and this was a total gem to finish our trip... dont leave it off your list if you are going
dude I just came across your content last week, and have been binging all of it....in the car, at home, during work... I love it. keep up this engaging , informative and fascinating content .
Absolutely loving this series. Being Scottish myself it's great to see some of these fantastic, non-Open rotation courses being showcased. Only recently came across your content (from Peter Finch video at Gleneagles) but the quality of this and the Adventures series is phenomenal.
#golfporn right there. Wouldn't last long on that one. Erik you for sure are the guy that made Scotland great. Just planning our golf trip next year and Scotland is the place.
I love the Pauls' I was reverse grip putting when I first started golfing because I was a left handed batter, but had to learn how to swing the club right handed bc my Dad could only afford (free) and right handed golf clubs. Anyway, not too many Pauls out there anymore. Especially Paul Sweet
EAL - brother... u have been creating for a bit. This is epic. Come on, Tom created them links. The fire crotch with the OTM beard, cross handed John Daly take away, WTF? That moment you connected with Colt about a precious premonition... F’ing hell yea Colt! they call them course managers? The Scots tho! John f’ing Muir? PB of Scotland is a disgrace to them. Love Golf man love golf. Bout to have to kick someone off my Dream 4 some for real. Thanks homie Have to imagine the 19th hole had some killer Stories as well. The whole experience, sun up to sun down. Ride or die men
Sorry, that I am late to the Party, I have only recently discovered your channel. I played regularly with a Guy who played Cack-handed and I always had to look away as he took his swing, something about swinging the club with your hands the opposite way around melted my brains! But he usually had the last laugh as he took the money. He couldn't explain why he played that way, it just seemed natural for him to hold the club that way.
Paul's swing looks awesome! Most famous cross-handed golfer: the legendary Sewsunker "Papwa" Sewgolum ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sewsunker_Sewgolum ). A great person apparently (like Paul, obviously), with an amazing life story. I heard that his son also plays cross-handed. Maybe give it a try? ;)
Cross handed, huge over swing, Paul is a breath of fresh air and throwing the book of swing fundamentals out of the window. The best golf vlog videos in the world.

Get Paul on the team full time...kid's a riot

LOOOOL!! BRUH!
Bruuu yes. I had to do a double take
There are others... prob. A support group too. OTM rolling in his grave
I’ve played like that since I first swung a club, unconventional but it works for me 👍🏻
Such a great storyteller Erik. I watch your Adventure VLOG’s multiple times and still hear or see something new every time. Appreciate you taking us along sir.
Paul is the greatest cross handed golfer to ever play the game. I love that guy.
How is this channel not on prime time? The best thing on TH-cam!
Your channel is the ONLY one I automatically upvote before viewing. Keep it up my man!

I just booked a tee time for October! Stoked to play this track! It’ll be my first trip over to Scotland… can’t wait!
How does your channel only have 17k subs still? Such high quality and always entertaining! Always learning something new for my channel. Thanks
I’ve been a member at Dunbar for 37 years . This is a fantastic video which really shows DGC at its best. Thank you.
The best tribute I can pay is that these videos make me love the great game more and I love this game with all my heart.

The cinematography in these videos is unreal. Another great one Erik and Colt.
Editing and commentary make this series a treat for everybody. Appreciate you suffering through all that golf for us!
Hahaha not a suffer just some unusual physical sensations!
I just don't understand how more people haven't seen this! You've inspired me to plan a trip to Scotland. Thank you.
That was definitely a cack handed handshake there at the end! Great video, again!
I could watch this series all day long. Great job.
Yes! I am so glad you went to the east coast for some golf. There are many gems out there. Dunbar certainly being one of them!
Amazing film. Makes we wanna go play golf in Scotland!
exactly! I live close to Dunbar, love this town anyway. I go there often for a day trip. I also managed to make a short video from my last trip.

Greetings from Finland and keep up the amazing work!
Seeing an old Wilshire CC member across the world is mind blowing. Another amazing video Erik!
I played this course in May of 2019 and it is one of if not my favorite course I've ever played, and I played the old course too. Absolutely perfect!

Wow! What a really great video! All your vids are really inspiring and bring a lot more than just visual content, thru deep reflexions and good laughs and smile, can't never get enough of them!
Another amazing one man! I was in Scotland for a week and played 6 courses in August, love what you’ve done, brings back a lot of amazing memories.
Played here just about 4 months ago as the last course on a 9 course tour...we had just been beaten up by Muirfield the day before and this was a total gem to finish our trip... dont leave it off your list if you are going

There is a trail here in Scotland called the John Muir way that is a fantastic walk or cycle route
Absolutely loving this series. Being Scottish myself it's great to see some of these fantastic, non-Open rotation courses being showcased.

Amazing!! Keep it going. Living the dream.
Come to Denmark and play Københavns Golfklub! It’s the oldest golf course in Scandinavia. My personal favourite!
You definitely have to come to Cape Breton, Canada; we have some dandy courses down here!
Dunbar is a fantastic golf course
Well that's it.. going to Scotland!
03:18 Is this kid John Daly's "Love Child" from when he was in Scotland in '95? 3:41 He's the right age! LOL
Had to stop the vid to applaud the drone footage at 14.36m. Bravo. Now back to the rest.
LOVE the Irn Bru shoutout!!
always loving Colt's Speedy Pro... definitely on the list for my final collection (if there is ever such a thing)
😍
I want to play there. Amazing.
Erik you would love the 9 hole course of Anstruther in Fife!
I want red curly hair! Another gem. Dunbar looks amazing!
Another outstanding video. Might be time to book a trip to Scotland
That guy on the bench, he has it all figured out
Well played sir.
Colt with the mythical red hat... I need that thing
Consider an Irish tour next year!!
Much better than Pebble
People are everything no matter where you play this wonderful game.
👍
That guy’s backswing is crazy long, but it works!
Not working today. Playing golf instead. Great Video!
Erik. Hit up your boy in Port Ludlow. The course here is difficult, to say the least, especially during the winter...
That swing tho!!!!
Love the accents!!
Playing with hands swopped around actually helps you to hit the ball straighter irrespective of distance.
IRN BRU IS SOOOOO GOOD
I love the Pauls' I was reverse grip putting when I first started golfing because I was a left handed batter, but had to learn how to swing the club right handed bc my Dad could only afford (free) and right handed golf clubs. Anyway, not too many Pauls out there anymore. Especially Paul Sweet
Playing Dunbar on Friday morning.
Now I finally know who EAL reminds me of viusally: French actor Pierre Richard.
I love both :-)
