My cousin drove me from Port Harcourt to Aba market. It was an interesting journey. The bad Roads, reckless drivers, market sellers, yes it was dirty. Have they stopped environmental sanitation day, if so it needs to be returned. Fines for dirty in front of your house and shops....it is a health risk...government need to provide large street bins and should be picked up daily. All the tax and no return to the citizens.

The solution is to develop new cities. Sometimes some of these problems can be as a result of over population & extreme congestion. Take for example a tiny island like lagos with 25million people? That is absolutely abnormal for a city of 452.23 square miles only. The reason everyone is moving to the city is because the government is a government of money sharing & not production.
Why not move to a different area where it is better kept? I don't mean that question in a disrespectful way. I'm inquiring if that is an option or is that not something that is encouraged?

My best friend is American but his dad was from Abia St Nigeria. My best friend passed away in 2001 and his body was flown back there. Question, would it be safe for me to visit there? I love all people and truly believe most people are good but my life experience tells me that’s not always true. I’m white so I’m sure I’d stick out but that’s ok. I’d love to visit my friends resting spot. Hopefully one day when my kids grow up cause I’m sure that I can’t afford the flight right now.

My heart breaks everytime I visit aba. For the revenue generated in that city, it doesn't deserve to be in the state it is.
