If we ever were confused as to why celebrities think they know everything despite coming across like imbeciles to the rest of the world, there it is. Write out the transcript of Kevin’s answer and then look at it impartially. Pretend you don’t know the speaker. It’s obsessively redundant and unimaginative. There’s not even a semblance of argument one way or another - “Their heart is in the right place,” as if we didn’t know that and thought it was in some nefarious place. If he was ten times more articulate and insightful, he’d still get an F. Keep praising him guys while scratching your heads why celebrities are narcissists.

It's not about saying or not saying, it's about being proportional. That whole "never again" (or whatever cliche line they used) came off like they were rehearsing a line for a roll. With actors, while it's certainly not all of them, there are certainly a higher percentage of "empty vesicles" that i think you'd find in most other occupations. I mean it would make sense that a job where you have to present yourself as someone else, it would attract more of that type of person.
When they try to be "real" and sympathetic, it just comes off as self-serving and narcissistic. It's SO prevalent that when you have someone that actually does have a personality that's their own it rises to bring almost heroic. I had watched the Ryan Reynolds video making fun of all the celebrity videos related to the pandemic (singing imagine), and how "important" they are, but only after essentially everyone else, i commented that his videos are the only ones that don't make me cringe so deeply that i become a black hole.
Thank God filming for films and TV shows has started again so they can focus on that.
