(Spoiler) I always thought the panel of taysir’s death was a great rebuttal to people’s criticism of rebecca guay’s art style as being too whimsical. That scene was so brutal and her graphic depiction really highlighted how significant it was for ferroz to engage in violence to that degree.
Another character I'm shocked has never gotten a card. I'm wondering what would be the best way to represent him in cardboard form. A meld flipwalker like Urza? A 5-color Planeswalker? Multiple different cards that synergize and each represent a different aspect of Taysir?

So, we know that Taysir's body was destroyed and his soul -his Planeswalker spark- was shunted into the oil and spread upon the 6th sphere before catching flame. One thing that might not have been accounted for was Taysir's soul being absorbed by the phyrexian sphere, in which case Taysir lives on, entrapped and slaved to Yawgmoth's will over the plane of Phyrexia. Food for thought.

I forget the name of the podcast, but I remember listening to this lore-focused podast at some point and the crew absolutely HATED Nicol Bolas because of how re-used of a villain he was. It was a bit jarring at the time, since I've always liked the character. I'd imagine they'd be screeching if they brought that old dragon back...
I love how the more you learn about Urza, the less and less tolerable as a being he becomes. Heck, he's pretty much openly evil during the Brothers' War, it's just that theirs the whole 'Phyrexia is a special kind of evil' trope in action, so we're supposed to be 'tolerant' of Urza's evil, because it's 'necessary', but of course it's not and he's one of the biggest problems the multi-verse has ever had. I'm saying that Urza is basically propaganda so the government can keep doing stuff like Iraq and Nam, 'necessary evil' BS is the worst BS.
Urza is an arrogant piece of shit, but he does tend to at least try to fix his mistakes, even if it is in the most terrible and wrong way possible. It reminds me of the saying - "The US will always do the right thing - after exhausting every other option". I feel it fits Urza even better.
Sometimes the TH-cam Algorithm pops off and shows me to a great up and coming content creator that I instantly subscribe to. I like it when that happens.
At first I thought the monitor in the background was a poster, and I spent like a minute or two debating about whether or not I think its a cool idea to have a poster that looks like a computer desktop, and then I noticed its on a stand and its actually a monitor.
I'm waiting for the big reveal that Taysir actually has a sixth version, a colorless Taysir and that when the titan killed the five color Taysir he spark ignited and with it all the memories of his multi colored counterpart. Is it completely undoing his death, yes. Is it super lazy writing, yes. Do I wish we would go back to Rabiah and this to be true, yes.

This is extreme nitpicking, but imo Guff was the most powerful planeswalker ever, given his ability to literally retcon the storyline. He was so strong that the writers killed him off seconds after he used that power so they didn't have to deal with the narrative consequences of having someone whose power was 4th wall breaks. Great video regardless, Taysir is super cool!
