Would it make sense to buy this card if you're just playing at 1080p ? (sometimes I like to supersample). I'm really just buying it for future proofing. And there's one with a pretty damn good price right now.
Fairly simple, if 4k doesn't use 16gb then there won't be any benefit to that. gddr6x has higher bandwidth, literally just faster memory so more performance goes out.
