This is my favourite episode you have done and the main reason is that you have brought back so many memories and all have involved my mum who we lost 20 years ago now or in my head the other day and my mum being from Ashington Northumberland and my uncle always had a head Turner of a vauxhall and the last one he had before alot changed was a white vauxhall cavalier Sri. All of that and your accent is exactly the same as my family has helped me so so much forgotten memories. Sorry for going on but I really can't thank you enough for helping me without even knowing... I had a 290hp c20let Corsa b few years ago and believe me that did nothing but spin through 2nd in dry 😂 always wanted a set of speedlines on it though best looking wheels ever on corsa’s and nova’s
That RWD Cav was doing the rounds late 00's on forums, various pics and info on updates. There was always a question as to whether it would get finished due to the escalating costs. Good to know it finally did. Love the Cav's, got one myself, had many. Great vid 👍

Great video, especially seeing the Cavaliers in the garage. Brings back so many memories. Early 90's I was driving along in a 1.3 Fiesta deciding on what 'proper' car to treat myself to. A burgundy Cavalier GSi coming the other way passed me. I decided there and then 'that's what I want!' Got my met blue one x weeks later. Coming from a 1.3 Fiesta, you can imagine the look on my face when test driving the GSi and the salesman said 'give it some' can remember that feeling to this day! Thanks for posting, great cars.
Great Video 👍 The 80's and 90's were the best era for Vauxhall imo, (rust aside 😜) well engineered, looked ace and comfortable to drive, not the limit lol, I had numerous cavaliers with c20 xe and nova with c20xe on twin 45's after 12 months put a c2let in it, also had a ultra rare mk2 astra sri turbo technics which was like a pig on roller skates to drive but was fast! As soon as the Vectra came out i never bought another Vauxhall but still want an old skool one
I served my time painting Vauxhalls in the nid to late 80s and the the MkI Astra GTE was the car I always wanted but couldn't afford one at the time, but I'd love one to build from the ground up with a 2.0 litre turbo under the hood and upgraded to take the power. So anti roll bars, strut bacing, seam welded with plates on the strut towers, custom front and rear suspension and a few extra strengthening job to have it able to handle 500+bhp through the wheel's, that all four as it would get the four-wheel drive set up from Calibra/Cavalier to get the power down in a straight cut box........now, all I've gotta do is win the lottery as the rest is easy!

Cracking video Adam, another one filled with Vauxhall content, but the only thing is that the owner of the company was wrong when he told you that Speedline never made the Allessio 2 in anything bigger than 16”, the company actually produced them in 15” 16” and 17” the 17” was a 5 stud wheel but without the centre cap to cover the wheel bolts Courtenay Sport and WheelBase both sold them back in the day, and having seen a few Cavaliers with them fitted I do think they really do suit the car. Loved my vectra b only a 1.8 but quiet comfortable cornered well and they were high geared and very aerodynamic so they were capable of ridiculousely high speeds! If I remember right vauxhall claimed something like 127mph!

I to love the mk3 cavalier I've got a m reg cavy hatchback was a 1.8 its now a 2.0L 16v c20xe red top i swapped all the parts over from a gsi2000 had her 19 years now a i love it I also got a mk4 astra coupe turbo in rare breeze blue running 300bhp
You need a few South African homologation Opel models in that rather tasty collection, check out the Opel Kadett GSi S SuperBoss from the late 80`s/early 90`s and the Kadett and Astra 200TS models from the early to mid 90`s...models that you really wish you could have in the U.K that were never released anywhere but South Africa...
