  • It's always a great time to stop by and see our friends Doug and Adam Pray at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Co. in Broken Arrow, OK!
Every time we stop by, there is always something cool to see. Some of the projects are long term restorations and we get to see them throughout different parts of the process AND there are always other cool cars that are just in for some maintenance and minor repairs!
The Cord we are going to check out tonight has been owned by the same gentleman for decades. HIs dream was always to have the car finished to a very high standard, and that's why he decided to bring it to the experts at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Co.!
The amazing thing about this place is that since they are the factory, they have the manuals, literature, and diagrams to do these cars right!! Not only that, but they do still have the original NOS inventory from when these cars were new as well as a lot of good, quality, original used parts that they have acquired over the years. They usually don't have to go any further than their own parts department to source the pieces to restore these amazing cars!!!
This one is still apart and in the process of going back together, so it will give us an interesting, behind the scenes look at one of these amazing Cords!
Let's spend a few minutes with Doug and learn some more about these amazing autombiles!!!!
Be sure to check out the full Auburn Cord Duesenberg Co. Playlist on the channel for more awesome cars!!!!!

I want a 37 Sportsman or Phaeton so bad....was my father's unreached dream.

They were the American version of the Bugatti Veyron of their time.

a Phaeton is a 4 door open convertible, it has side curtains, and no windows in the doors, a Cabrolet has a fixed windshield and windows that roll up and down, and a 2 door
