There are more things to see and do in New York city . Miami is more lay back , more of a vacation type of place , with nice tropical weather .I would say NYC has more flavor 😊
Haven't been to miami in about 8 years I loved it there. I used to live in Orlando for a year in The early 90's. A little jealous that up here in The northeast we're suffering with A bunch of snow ,rain, sleet freezing temperatures and everything closed, Broadway, Some of the small local restaurants.😭 I can't wait to see NYC like this again. People and things open again. It's really sad what the big cities are Going through with this pandemic. Stay safe and have fun.❤

I am from Nova Scotia and we vacation in Florida. I drove all over Florida and you're absolutely right about how aggressive drivers are in Miami. It was much easier driving around Orlando and Tampa.

My last trip to New York (where my father grew up), and Florida, was in 1958...the Go-To place for eats, at least then, was Wolfie's, in Miami Beach. Great memories. Be safe, and have fun. Stayed at that Intercontinental a few hrs ago with my daughter who was Sr Sales Dir at their hotel in Times Square. The one in Miami was fairly corporate but nice and convenient to lots of spots. My grandfather lived on Collins Ave after he lost his license to drive in Detroit when I was a kid. We visited him there over the holidays. Lots of snow birds from Northern and Eastern cities in Florida, San Diego area and Arizona in the winter.
This is one of the most timely videos ever, because I'm deciding whether to live in Miami vs New York City as of right now, and wanted a Miami walking video. Never expected this long of one from the walking king of TH-cam from NYC. Miami has always been winning. Rent is better, weather is superior, and its new for me. Just concerned that there's vastly reduced crowds in Miami compared to NYC (hope not an 80%-90% dropoff). I have a question for you. As a single person whos been stuck in small town hell for so long, what do you think the percentages of crowds Are on the streets & parks & public gatherings are from your observation in Miami compared to NYC? I'm watching this new series a LOT now, starting now. Can hardly wait for this series. God sent this!

ActionKid, I google this info for you, hope this will help. The free Miami Beach trolley runs Monday to Saturday from 6 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 8 a.m. to midnight, and with 4 routes to choose from, traveling around Miami Beach's South Beach, Mid-Beach , Collins Ave. and North Beach neighborhoods is easier than ever.
I agree with Rosa , I thought south beach end was a bit run down try and be on your guard around there , but biscayne in particluar bayside is a lovely area . If you have anytime get the bus down to key west . My most favourite place along with NYC we normally go a couple times a year . Have fun

Miami's modern architecture is amazing!
Orlando isn’t all about the theme parks anymore. There is a lot to do just you have to kinda find it. Downtown is ok just around church street. But Orlando is pretty central in Florida so you can go to any beach or up north in a couple of hours or less.

I'm sure you going to find yourself at the new seaport to catch the cruise boat ducking in and out. if you go to Miami Beach at the end of the Islam you will be able to see the cruise ships passing by just a few miters away.

I've visited Florida in 2014 it's warm and nice to visit but I would never move there. Toronto, Ontario is my home.

The problem is with Miami and Orlando is that you have to go to certain places for Chinese or Thai or Japanese. It’s just we are so spread apart here as we have actual space. But no subway system,
