- Here's the third and final part of my remake for the History of Singapore's Transit Buses, this time with updated information such the introduction of Tower Transit Services and Go-Ahead Singapore, the beginning of the lush green/SG ❤️ Bus era, as well as future info to when buses will be retired.
Updated info not mentioned in the video.
2018:
-Facelifted MAN NL323F (A22) Euro 6 were introduced.
-Volvo B5LH MCVs were introduced.
2019:
-BYD C6s were introduced.
2020:
-BYD K9 Gemilangs were introduced.
-Mercedes-Benz Citaro Hybrids were introduced.
-Linkker LM312s were introduced.
-Yutong E12s were introduced.
-Yutong E12DDs were introduced.
2021:
-Alexander Dennis Enviro500 MMC 3-Doors were introduced.
-BYD K9RCs were introduced.
-CRRC C12s were introduced.
-MAN A95 (Euro 6) 3-Doors were introduced.

Jan 2021: Introduction of MAN A95 3 door buses
Mar 2021: Launch of Solar panel roofed A22 E6s with GAS
Mar 2021: SG4004B failed its trial and was sent back to Mercedes
Mar 2021: MAN A24, Volvo B5LH, MAN A95 E6, MAN A22 E6 and Mercedes OC500LE were first introduced to Tower Transit
Mar 2021: Volvo B9TL CDGE begins its retirement
May 2021: SBS9889U scrapped
Aug 2021: Launch of Linkker LM312
Sep 2021: Tower Transit takes over MAN A95 E5 for the first time (not including SG5999Z)
Sep 2021: First proven appearance of double deckers on revenue service for Changi Airport-bound services (SG5751X on 858)
Oct 2021: Repainting of majority ex-AMDEP "moustache" A22s
Oct 2021: ST-Linkker Retrofitted E-bus was introduced
Oct 2021: Debut of the Alexander Dennis E500MMC 3 door
Dec 2021: Introduction of the CRRC C12
Oct 2021-Jan 2022: 144 Volvo B9TL CDGEs and 97 Scania K230UB E4s were retired
Jan 2022: Debut of MAN A22 E5s on non-SEDEP services
Jan 2022: Debut of SG plated Citaros on UPDEP services

I think 2002 or 2004 would be perfect for me (maybe not 2003 since the SARS outbreak was taking place). At the time TIBS still existed, there was a mix of old SBS and new SBS Transit liveries, I can ride my favorite SBS Transit bendy buses on service 18 again, and there was TV mobile in the buses.

From all 3 parts of the video, each underegistered bus is supposed to last for about 20 years until scrapping of the buses begins.

You forgot to mention that SMB222L has been scrapped in 2016.
And I think SG4001J has been deregistered in 2017.

2020 (As of 26 Jun 2020):
SG4001J is now PC6264K serving downtown east shuttles.
SG4003D failed its trial and sent back to unknown
VSOs are officially scrapped
CNGs are officially scrapped except SBS2988M (preserved by St Andrew Autism Centre) and SBS2989K (Unknown, parked at BBDEP as of 6/26/2020
A few units of Hispano Habits are running
SG4002G is converted into a LTA SMART BUS, no engine
Yutong E12 SD are on services 944,983,66,990 and 15
Yutong E12 DD is on 983 and other unknown services by other operators
BYD K9 (Gemilang) still training at Yishun, Yio Chu kang and Newton areas
byd now on 807 for sbst
Hispano Habits Mercedes-Benz O405G was all scrapped in 2020

Scenario: Since the air conditioning is horrible in those buses we won't board the buses and they'll go bankrupt and there will be no buses...

Btw LTA recently ordered some Euro 6 A22s and 4002G is currently not in Singapore but at the Gemilang assembling area with the Euro 6 A22s

Theres a mistake in this video but its not your fault,SG4002G was scrapped in early 2023 for an odd reason,Why did they scrap it no one knows.

This video was made before LTA decided to scrap all non-low floor buses a lot earlier than when they are actually supposed to be deregistered.

2019- Man A95 Euro 6s were introduced

1. In 2019, Travel GSH de-registered the SMRT'S Zhongtong Hybrid* bus.
*Note: i don't remember the plate and the bus lol
2. The SBS Transit's Sunlong Hybrid bus (SBS800xl) had sold to other companies and de-registered after.
3. The SMRT's Yutong bus (SMB135E) de-registered.
Denis Tridents, VOLVO B10Ms, 0405Gs, B10TLs from what i know, are all scrapped.
