BATTLING THE WIND | Late Season LAKE TROUT in VERMONT!

This ice fishing season is rapidly winding down, and to keep the adventurous spirit of this winter alive, I hopped in the truck and drove 2 hours into the heart of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom for an afternoon of lake trout fishing. I was not expecting the 40mph winds and two and a half feet of snow covering the pond, but I somehow managed to find the loneliest little laker I've ever met. In honor of my smallest lake trout to date, here is the shortest long-form video I've uploaded to the channel.

I thought that was shadow lake at 1st but now I'm not sure??

It is Shadow indeed! Probably woulda been more obvious if I was able to put the drone up in the air but I didn’t clear myself for take-off on account of the wind.
