I think he is highly overrated. The Bears should have kept Fields. Trade the pick for the 2nd overall pick, early 2nd and 3rd round pick and a 1st or 2nd in next year's draft. As a Bears Fan I would have prefer: Fields, Marvin Harrison Jr., Jared Verse, Jackson Powers-Johnson, Kiran Amegadjie, Zak Zinter and a 1st or 2nd in next year's draft. Over Caleb Williams, Rome Odunze and Kiran Amegadjie.
Every play shown he’s throwing to an open receiver. He holds the ball longer than Fields and everyone calls it hero ball but Fields holds the ball to long. These narratives are ridiculous. I want CW to do well but the fact that he holds the ball too long May mean he can’t see the open windows. However he has 4 receivers who can get quick separation so that should help.
he can throw with anticipation he just trys to play hero ball too often. Highlights don't show the full picture. Fields holds on to it because he cant throw with anticipation. Caleb can be fixed with coaching, Fields can not.
