That’s not entirely accurate. The Bears went 12-4 in 2018 and won the NFC North. But I definitely get where you’re coming from. With Kevin Warren and Ryan Poles leading the organization it finally feels like the Bears have the proper management in place to be a perennial contender.
I'm not a Bears fan but I can respect the move to move on from Fields when you guys had the first overall. Rome falling to you guys was just pure luck. Maybe all that praying did pay off. Wish the Bears luck in the Caleb era
That is a bit inaccurate. In 2010 the bears went to the NFC championship, and in 2018 the bears won the NFC north with a heart breaker double doink in the playoffs. However, I will say the last 4 years has been difficult at the very least and we have been seen as a laughing stock in the NFL. SUPERBOWL IN 2025….🍾🥳🤩

I do think this is the turn around. Great defense and now a dynamic offense. The only question mark is the offensive play calling.

We got one helllllll of a good play caller now. Watched his highlights and he can disguise every play. And he makes amazing plays up with multiple scenarios for each one. The first time they run it. It could be a screen. The next a run. The third time running the same play it could be anything. He's really really good compared to Getsys terrible system .

The Bears offense is looking pretty set with that array of weapons for Williams to work with, but my concern for this Bears team is on the defensive side of the ball. Montez Sweat is the only real stud on that defensive line, and the linebacker depth is thin beyond Tremaine Edmunds. The secondary is also a concern, since Jaylon Johnson can also use some relief, especially since the Bears have to play guys like Amon-Ra St. Brown and Justin Jefferson on a regular basis. Scoring points is great and all, but your defense also needs to be able to hold opposing offenses from doing the same thing in order to win games. The Bears have an offense on paper, but the defense, I fear it may be the Achilles' heel for any championship aspirations at the moment.
Bears secondary is elite and young. Tj edwards is awesome at linebacker, and Sweat said he thinks Gervon Dexter is going to be a beast and I believe it. They were a top 10 defense the second half of the year last year
Are you a Bears fan because they literally/easily have the best defense in the entire division. Their secondary is actually the strength of the D btw. They gave Detroit fits in both games and held em to 13 pts the last game(win).
Are you even checking the roster, they have the same roster minus Eddie Jackson who they replaced with byrd. Finished top 5 last year after the sweat trade. They don’t need a dominant defense, but that’s the only thing the bears get right now
