Mustang wouldn’t start and figured the carb needed a good cleaning and rebuild. Follow along as I take apart the Autolite 2100, clean it and place it back together with new gaskets and parts.
Brass float,oe from the factory, the plastic floats are much better, its needn a clean and new parts npieces,my dad modified the brass tubes a little bigger holes, which meant better performence on all the pieces, esp at w.o.t.ohh the power valve is shot ita a mess good luck
I had a 1971 2100 rebuilt. When I installed it I found out where the fuel filter goes in is stipped. Is that a pipe thread or do you have any ideas how to repair. Thanks

how much shaft play is too much and will cause a vacum leak?
his sounds pretty tight and squeaky
do you need to plug the hole in the front center of the carb top? mine was spraying out fuel so plugged it with red RTV.
Hmm. Haven’t had issues yet.
Forget the small 2 hole choke assembly gasket?
What kind of fuel filter is that, the one you unscrewed off the carburetor? Part # and where? Thanks.

I’m not sure. Mine was threaded
if i were you , id JB weld a threaded fitting in and use a nipple and an inline filter. once its cured JB is impervious to gasoline
need to tune it still
