Haven't seen justified but when I was watching this all I could think was this is part vikings part sons of anarchy with a dash of something else. Looks awesome

It was cancelled because WGN was bought by a big corporation and they wanted to make "content for a broader audience" aka stupid network tv content. Nothing too original or risky. Now they make "Almost Paradise" ...
Facts. I just binged both seasons and left on that cliff hanger just pissed me off.

The show was wgn's highest rated ever. It was cancelled due to lack of "ethnic diversity" at that time was also the start of cancel culture movement. Look at the walking dead and its makeup. There isnt much demand for euro based old world culture in hollywood these days. Might hurt some feelings.

Watching outsiders now we bought it for $15.00 and its well worth it. After watching the original TV series we couldn't believe it was cancelled. Great series i love how free these people were.

Looks cool. UGN is doing some fantastic stuff under the radar. Salem is fun as hell and Manhattan is one of the best shows on. They've earned my attention. I'll definitely watch this. Plus, just look at David Morse. How could I not have to find out what's going on there? Mountain folk! Sons of Mountainarchy!

this show is filmed in the woods of a park I grew up by in Monroeville pa.a suburb of pittsburgh.also some in a small tough town called pitcairn.
I wish that this show was still on. Does anyone know why it stopped.

We want season 3
This reminds me kind of of winters bone. I live in the Appalachian mountains of western North Carolina so this is familiar to me. I'm in Asheville which is a pretty cosmopolitan city given the location, but these kinds of rough guys are around. The ones around Asheville are usually harmless and even more open minded than you'd expect because Asheville is a pretty liberal city. But you get a ways from the city and its very much like this. There is a harsh unspoken code and sometimes feuds and such. I work at the veterans hospital and guys come from way out in the mountains to get treatment, so I see all kinds. Most are nice though if you're nice to them.

My road legit goes into a dirt road in the mountains where I have a lot of family who live “in the mountains”. More atvs than cars around here and we have the Hatfield McCoys and their trails. This is like every other movie/show about WV or Ky people where they try to make us ALL look like a certain stereotype. Is it a good show yes but I don’t really care what people think about our area because they don’t live here to know a damn thing about us. But your comment I had to reply “this is familiar to me” boy get out of here with that bullshit!

- the Outsiders "legally own" the mountain land they are on?
- or is it government owned land?
- or owned by the coal mining company that wants to mine?

My people are Pennsylvanian Mennonite.. But half my family are bikers.. this show reminds me so much of my kin. Hill folk that’ll give you the shirt off our backs, or strangle you with it.

Theyre filming part of this show right outside my apartment today in Millvale, PA, which is supposed to be the town in Kentucky. Saw the cop guy standing right outside my door thats in this trailer. Never watched the show, maybe I will now.
