You will probably need to wait manaflow CD to E -> Hit -> Manaflow -> W to disengage. First back you buy mana regen first item or 2 mana regens for non stop healing At 6 you can all in for a guaranteed kill or 2. Let your adc take the heat and engage. The rest you will probably figure it out :D
I used to play Zyra, im low elo and overall I wasn't making it work even though that was my highest winrate champion. Now that I have changed my playstyle and improved, I think it is time to bring her out again. You are exactly right that she can hold her own late game, which is what i want right now. Something I can still carry a bit even if my team is lacking, where carrying doesn't just mean choosing engagements for the team.
I always loved Zyra, she was my main after Soraka but I always felt inept at her. I should take after and think of the plants as extensions of sight as well as damage more often. Lissandra is the reason I started LoL; Soraka, Pyke & Zyra's why I stayed for a long while.
I main Zyra. Live playing her. Make me laugh when my teammates flame me for not doing anything (they're blind, I'm fighting from over the wall), and at the end of the game i have the least deaths but easily the most damage and cc for both teams. Lmao.
Yeah, her and Brand probably share that title. It can be a LITTLE deceptive on Zyra because she has so much little "chip" damage that just adds up over the course of the game, not all of her damage sticks and is actually meaningful. But yeah I LOVE her damage.
Zyra has the best leash to help your jungle. I usually hide in the bush till like 57 sec then pop out so the seeds spawn then at 1:28 I use my q on them and the three plants will do a ton of damage to the buff golem so you can walk to lane at that point and jungle will be happy

Maybe not a 3-hour video but three back-to-back games sounds nice. The one you showed here was good, but lets be honest, the matchup was too easy for you. Two ranged champs that can trap and zone for days versus double melee all-in.
Why do you hate SCorch so much ? ANd ADCs ? Also you should make a survival series of all the support champs (each time one dies, you cant play that anymore for the remainder of the series) then end the series with a list of how many wins you got with each champ before dying/ rating table for each). Just a thought
It's actually INSANE how much better Gathering Storm is in 99% of matchups. Okay so imagine I brought scorch, and I'm against a double melee matchup -- Garen has good base regen anyways, and Pyke gets grey health so all those little 20 extra dmg my scorch would have done is WASTED. Whereas 20 minutes into the game I get 24 AP which is basically half an item FOR FREE! It's legit amazing, but even better for low ELO games where players don't know how to end out games and they go on forever.
Zyra main here 🪴 What would you recommend against shields? Since there isn't an AP item for that. I always have tough mtachups against Millio or Karma to give an example. I tried going for utility on those games, with "moderate" success 😂
