Put dummies for your soldiers to train in around your keep and don"t forget to equip them with swords before sending them out to missions. I rushed to get my weaponsmith as soon as I learned this.
Raptor, love the vids, keep it up... one thing though... the Farms and wind mills arent working as well as they should because your villagers have to travel so far from they're homes, you should make more residential near them, also click on the 3dots in the buildings to see who lives closest
Few tips from my experience. Dont want to be a back seat gamer but Ive found in the early game not to expand too fast, and not to buy too many goods in trade. Once you have what you need put a hold on the trade because for some reason itll keep charging you. Turning off buying goods (tools for example) will keep your cash balance high. You also have a villager getting stuck somewhere, you can see that in the red circle in the top left thats why they keep leaving. Farmers will grow a larger area when they level up and they wont plant on paths so you dont have to paint around the paths. Try not to have travel times to work be too long, if you do have a centralized area for buying food and getting water in work districts. Hope this helps.
It's possible that citizens don't want to build houses too far away from markets. Maybe plop a food stall down on the other side of the road toward the new agricultural expansion? Glory to Raptoria!
I think your farms would yield MORE grain if the workers lived closer ... you are right, they should produce much more. Love your series .... keep them coming!
Raptor, thank you for the amazing content. I am subscribed to a lot of people, and I can't awlays watch every video. But, I almost always tune into yours.
Marketplaces, churches, wells and decorations raise the land desirability for residence zoning. Also, from what I've noticed, trading for profit is a waste of time. Just cover your resources and feed/clothe your people and you'll be swimming in cash. Oh! and don't expand your territory too much. For some reason I thought I was adding 50 to my income, when really I was adding 50 to my expenses each time... lol So far it's a cool game
Raptor, you should take off the wheat part of the granary so the wheat goes straight to the windmills, you should also do the same for the flour so it goes straight from the windmill to the bakery.
Hi Raptor Love watching you play! have you tried too build homes near the farmers so they don't spend half their sowing time walking from Home Too work? :D that might help them sow more.
You may have to buy more land in order to get a bigger space for making homes. That should increase the amount of taxes coming in and help solve money problems
15:54 my farms with 3 farmers each planted a lot more than that per farm, though the amount planted does vary from season to season. Oh maybe as your farmers level up, they can plant more? Maybe your planting area selected is too big and is confusing the farmers? Screenshot: imgur.com/Jr1uYRH
Your people are spending all there time walking back and forth from there work then to the gender then to housing. Add move venders at the edges of your town and housing area by the farms
People has problems working in the bread district because they live too far away. You should check if people is living near their workplace to improve efficiency
not sure why your wheat farms aren't planting that much. mine did decent sized fields, maybe twice the size as yours. weird. maybe it's a bit random? idk. plus one wheat farm has been enough to keep my windmill and baker busy.
They aren't building homes because you need more markets. You have too few so the markets that you have are either serving people constantly (so others can't get their food), and when the market tender leaves to satiate to their needs, the market stops working so even less people are able to get their needs. When you make a market, try to place a granary nearby so that the market tender doesn't have to travel so long for resupply and leaves the market unattended for too long. Also, don't promote them. The more they're promoted, the more needs they have to fulfill and the more time away from the market they need.
@@Raptoria it's in the trade menu in the top right of your screen. When you unlock it, it just opens up the trade route, you have to set what to import, and export from the trade menu.

A gigantic monastery on the cliff overlooking the village would look amazing!

GLORIA PER LA RAPTORIA!!
Love the commentary and banter. Been waiting for this game since seeing it at PAX. Looks good polished enough to buy now. Glory to Raptoria!

This is somewhat becoming like anno, except without production times, warfare, or new worlds
and no stupid grid :)
It looked like the middle finger at 14:04 😂
Blessed are the cheesemakers!
First of all if you want they to build house you must see desirability and if it’s low you can add decorative bush to boost desirability.
I think the farms need water near them for crops to grow...GLORY TO RAPTORIA!
Raptor: 182 - 181 = 1. There should be one. I don’t know where the four is coming from.
Me: but you didn’t even look at the trade part, That’s how.
Your people are spending all there time walking back and forth from there work then to the gender then to housing. Add move venders at the edges of your town and housing area by the farms
Great vids on a great new game
glory to raptoria ..... maybe
hahahaha... it should be bigger than that!!!! hahahaha...
priceless
I like the micromanaging but it seems like it would be a pain once the town gets too large
DO MORE VIDEOS ON THIS GAME
Glory to Raptoria!
Historically and in game mechanics support to have more farms than there are windmills. They only sit around now with nothing to do.
As your farmers level up surly they can plant much much more!
Foundation or Universim? Which do you prefer??
People has problems working in the bread district because they live too far away. You should check if people is living near their workplace to improve efficiency
You'll need to have work places near residential areas to have them build homes. The AI like to work close to where they live.
7:14 - A Bridge Too Far
Is there a live stream in the middle that’s missing?
look at dat thicc town am I right?
there is no priest assigned to the church
Great video!!
Glory O Raptoria!
they only build houses on flat land, the area they are not building houses on is not flat enough(has elevated bits so is uneven)

Should you maybe clear out the trees around the homes so that they can continue building next to one another cause they seem to like to

You have to set up the trade route in order for them to trade with you.

I'm pretty sure they only build homes near their work places
Why does that field look so wrong and he’s talking about making it bigger (15:00)
maybe as the farmers level up they might be able to plant bigger feilds
