This is my first video I’ve found by you, and I must say, I appreciate you. I’m 17 and I’ve been watching TH-cam since I was about 8, and throughout my childhood and teenage years, I’ve always wanted to be a TH-camr. Unfortunately I’ve always been to anxious to start up. But your kindness and genuineness is really inspiring and remarkable. Thank you for being you, and thank you for continuing your hobby, because it’s people like you who have started and helped grow this crazy, yet beautiful community that we call TH-cam. Have a great day man.
Thank you for the very kind words. I definitely understand the apprehension with starting a TH-cam channel, it's a very competitive environment if you focus on the numbers and the droning of negative comments. I've got my share of those. Luckily they've been offset by comments like yours. It's easy to get swept up by the clout and certainly a large portion of this site is dedicated to just that, but staying true to what made you passionate in the first place is the only way to avoid a complete crash and burn scenario. I never tried to make it anything more than it is because I wasn't meant for that. Some people go for everything and end up with nothing. In any event, thanks again for the comment, I appreciate it.
Just found your channel but I'd be happy to stick around, you seem to have content right up my alley. My first channel was 2006 and this one was made 2008. I changed my content a lot over the years and took long breaks due to lack of motivation. My channel has been extremely stagnant because I'm never happy with the content I make. I've started with cartoons and flash animations, moved on to commentary videos, then moved on to computer tutorials. I also don't care about making youtube a career or monetization. It's been a long lost dream. Nowadays I just hope the few hundreds that stumble across my videos can benefit from them.
I'm basically in the same place you are, I was on a roll for years with videos but I've slowly stared to burn out. I've made pretty much everything I can think of. Likewise I never catered towards any particular audience or chased numbers, that's all meaningless to me. I don't want it to be anything more than what it has been. Thanks for the comment.
I’ve been on TH-cam since 2008, when my dad showed me the website as literally an infant lol. I even got home videos of me watching TH-cam back then. I used my dad’s channel that he made around March or April 2006, sadly I got that one banned in around 2011 for spamming comment sections with gibberish since I was a very young kid. Then I had a channel from 2014 till 2018, that one still exists but I don’t use it at all. Now I use this one, which is quite recent.
I’ve been watching since 2008 as well, basically as soon as our area got broadband internet we bought a new computer and I started watching. My sister had a channel in September 2008 so I’m pretty sure that’s around when. I probably would’ve made my channel sooner if I had a camera to film with, had to wait for that. Very different times…
I must say the dedication is admirable. The best youtubers in my opinion make things that interest them. Good for you, i think alot of people look at subs and views as the only important metric but you have put in the work and time cool stuff bro.
If you feel that way do yourself a favor and never go to any weddings, funerals, award ceremonies, or hang out with friends. Trust me, if you don't like people sharing authentic emotions and can't listen to what he's saying then you wouldn't like any other social interactions (: find love brother
@@tmkopistachio I think it's valid criticism without being mean, but you obviously see it another way. Seems pretty hypocritical of you to make baseless assumptions about my social life though. but if you really care, then I can tell you that I've luckily already found love :)

Thanks, that's definitely one of the things I like about the channel, it's a project of sorts.

Good job brother, keep it up
Congratulations
Thanks for the continued support!
🐐.
That's my age
It doesn't feel like that long ago that I was 14, incredible how time has gone by. Thanks for watching.

The numbers don't mean anything to me, I picked up a few cool people over the years and that's more valuable than an analytics screen to me.
im proud
god speed man
good shit bro keep it up
You managed to say almost nothing in 18 minutes. Quite impressive really
