Not sure if this is helpful or not but you can smooth air dry clay after cutting with a bit of water and your finger, or a bit of water and a smooth brush, while it's still damp. These are the CUTEST ever! As an artist myself, I LOVE the paint palettes! Adorable pieces!

Thank you so much! And also thank you for the tip. I usually use my hands to smooth out the clay with a bit of water 🥰

These are beautiful!!!! I admire your patience!!! Air dry clay and clay in general is frustrating to work with and you make it look so easy! And yes! My daughter makes jewelry. I help her with beading because needles make it easier but she can spend hours making those little eye needle pins…I give up because everything is so tiny and like you said it falls all over the place lol.

Ahaha yes! air dry clay does take a bit of patience but not as much as beading or embroidery. I find it quite relaxing to work with air dry clay because you can always change shapes easily. You can try polymer clay if you think air dry clay is too difficult.

I would check local arts and crafts stores around you. That's where I got mine

They are pretty sturdy once the clay is dry and varnished. I haven't had issues with any of them breaking 🥰
