My Great Uncle, a Yousafzai Pashtun from Swabi District, NWFP from a poor background who joined the army to provide for family back home was stationed in Chawinda, then posted to East Pakistan where he became a POW where he was starved to eat leaves. He returned to Pakistan to instead work in Qatar where he was robbed, his prolonged struggle in life lead to a rapid deterioration of his mental state till he passed away.

Yes there are lot of Bajwas in this town and surrounding. Infact lot of villages are named with Bajwas.

Good to konw the information about Chawinda Railway Station. To me that was the best part of the video (existing building was of 1965. Before 1965, there was old structure which is still visible)

Thanks, Chawinda, Punjab, Pakistan is a Histroric town of Pakistan. Once was an important Town in this part of Subcontinent ( pre partition 1947 ). Old streets, temples, houses, Remains of Forts.
