- 140 Years Old School in Chawinda, Sialkot, Punjab Pakistan
The oldest school not only in Chawinda but in the whole nearby region. Founded in 1885 in Britishh Colonial era. The school building also used to be a historical fort. If you visit Badshahi mosque lahore, you can read out the name of this Chawinda fort on the Text written on its entrance.
The school building was impressive and its seems like a college. Such a impressive structure for high school is rare in now a days. The names of the postion holder Students of each year were mentioned on Head Master's room. The names also include Hindus and Sikhs. Before partition there used to be lot of Hindus and sikhs in Chawinda and nearby areas.

ڈی سی ہائی سکول چونڈہ واقعی ایک تاریخی سکول ہے بڑی یادیں اس سے ہماری وابستہ ہیں، ماسٹر رحمت صاحب اور ماسٹر یوسف صاحب، عربی ٹیچر ماسٹر کرامت اللہ صاحب بڑے یاد آتے ہیں ۔باقی سکولوں کے متعلق کی ویڈیو بنا سکیں تو نوازش ہوگی
1965 میں مڈل کے امتحان کے لئے ہمارا اس سکول میں سینٹر بنا تھا جس کے لئے ہم گورنمنٹ مڈل سکول پنڈی بھاگو سے آ کر کچھ دن چونڈہ میں رھے تھے. ہمارے پرچے سکول کے ہال اور اس سے ملحقہ کمروں میں ہوتے تھے.

My dear father attended D.B. Coronation High School, Chawinda for 6 years, and passed Matriculation examination from this school in 1938 securing very good marks. I think the same school has been renamed as Govt High School. I have original Matriculation Testimonial issued by Punjab University, Lahore, and Character Certificate signed by the then Headmaster.

I have my father's Character Certificate issued to him on passing Matriculation examination securing 571 marks in 1938, signed by Mr. Ghulam Sarwar Ansari Sb, Head Master, DB Coronation High School Chawinda.
مین ہال میں ہم نے میٹرک کے پیپر دئے تہے 1970 میں ماسٹر طور صاحب ہمارے ہمسائے تھے جو اس سکول کے ہیڈ ماسٹر تھے، انکے بعد مکرم غلام احمد صاحب ہیڈ ماسٹر بنے تھے
