So scary seeing it from a different perspective. I’ve seen Lester’s videos several times but this was scary watching it rise. I can’t imagine living through that.
Thanks for the video. Understanding why your mom and dad left the hill. Certainly difficult decision to make, but, I bet, the constant worry of flooding and safety made it easier for them to decide. ♥️
Harvey was such a sad event - unexpected and so fast to be able to react was almost impossible … and so much animal life lost … truly horrible. I saw Lester on the news in the aftermath & I started checking up on him … your family is a tribute to starting over❣️and sticking together❣️ and not giving up❣️
That was very informative, thank Ben for helping us understand the devastating results of Harvey compared to the last flooding, which was not fun either. I'm thankfulll the Morrows were able to withstand them both. Bless you all.
Ben, I am so glad you thought to document Harvey. I was in Los Angeles visiting my daughter when that happened, but my husband was home and thankfully we did not flood, however he said he went without electricity for several days. I did watch the footage of downtown Houston. A scary time for sure. ❤
The emotional damage from an unexpected disaster along with the loss of life undoubtedly made Harvey harder. Thanks for sharing your footage. Interesting video💗
I'm like PawPaw & really like the guinea hens, their calls & the excellent work they do in reducing nasty bugs!! 👍🏻😊 Praying that nothing like Harvey ever comes to your area again, or anywhere else.🙏😧😔 So devastating, so much death, loss of animals, homes, businesses, ruination of land & crops, etc.😢🙏
Ben through my tears I’ve never seen those videos from the family with Harvey. I am so sorry you guys all went through that. Thank you for sharing I know, especially for your family. You guys lost your entire home. Seven years later, you guys have all built better stronger and no one wants to mess with your family in a time of disaster. You guys all show what family is all about you all came together. You have the world always in your prayers. Sending you blessings love my farm family.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Water can be so destructive! Sad that so many animals perished and I imagine there were people who also perished. I know all of you who were on the Hill during Harvey must have some bit if not a good bit of PTSD from what you all endured and what you then witnessed post waters subsiding with all your beloved animals who you found deceased. So much to process. Thanks for sharing your footage.
That shows that it just kept coming. And coming. Thanks for showing us the films that you took Ben. It’s a good reminder of what happened with Harvey. It certainly left a mark on everyone’s life there on Marrow hills.
This is so sad and heartbreaking 💔 to see. Hearing and seeing is such a huge difference in the reality of it. When you were showing the depth of the water with PawPaw’s log house, that said it all. From the one log, to about the 3rd log, and halfway up the logs! I would have nightmares forever, and worry every time it rained. Have you thought about seeing a specialist to talk about what you experienced and might still have some mental effects from Harvey? Thank you for sharing.
I tried to watch it and it hurts to see. I was in a flood in 1972. Hurricane Agnes. I lived in Swoyersville Pa and we had 4 ft on our first floor. I had to evacuate when the sirens sounded. Being the oldest, I had to help with myvv big younger brothers. Very traumatic time. God bless you all.
‼️😲Wow ❗ That's and amazing video and very scary at the same time Thank 🕊️God you're all were okay in that type of disbelieve storm that hit you guys. Thank you for sharing the video Ben.👍‼️
Ben it's like those guineas knew you were wrapping this up silence 🤣😂flood water is awful 2008 4ft in the living room here 😭 Thanks for sharing yours it helps knowing we aren't alone🥰
Thank you for sharing these videos with us Ben. I ran across a Facebook memory today that I had posted with a news pic showing all the road closures and such and I could not believe the aftermath of Harvey and thanking God I didn't live there (I live in Central FL). Little did I know then that I would be following these families lives on you tube and learning their stories a few years later. God bless all of you.❤
Wow Ben, wasn't on your pages then. You really caught it pretty good. You were old enough to remember this. So sad , it caused so much disaster and destruction!! Definitely never forget!!
So strange to not see the new homes across the street from the Hill... Then just too have those new homes be part of the cause for more flooding... Progress huh?
I don't blame you for not wanting to move on to the hill. It's kind of funny to me that Jake is moving off for that very reason and then seems surprised that you don't want to 🤦
Harvey was horrible. Even though I don't live in Texas, i was praying for everyone in its path. I can definitely understand why Harvey would stick in your mind.
It was a sad event, but en you were just a baby during Harvey. It's not like you could do much, maybe babysitting for the younger kids so the adults could work.
Thanks ben for showing
Ben, thanks for the video and filming the place.
Thank you ben for sharing sometimes when people a far away we dont realize how bad it was seeing your videos help us to remember

Hey Ben, thank you for sharing with us. 🙏❤️
WOW .. what a huge difference has been made in 7 yrs..
So much devastation of property and animals and still emotional baggage that even time can't erase.
Thank you, Ben for this memory. I have seen Lester’s after video but it was eye opening to see the difference in Harvey and Beryl. ❤️🙏
