One More thing don't think i'm mentioning you often.. Your Efforts are much appreciated.. my personal experience being a two wheeler driver.. don't go between divider and any big vehicles.. cause there will be sand settled near the divider it will skid your vehicle. i was experienced once by my foolishness in the Gandhipuram Signal.. opp to SETC Bus Stop.. Evening a 32G bus was heading towards thudiyalur.. i went between the divider and the bus, which caused me to skid and fell near the back side Tyre of the bus.. Distance between the head and bus tyre is Hand Palm size. thank god by time the Signal not turned Green.. the bike's back was crushed totally, myself and my friend escaped divinely.. After that i never do that gain. It better to be late then Mr. Late. so now i plan according.. So be cautious..

Government should make traffic rules more strict. Problem in India is every traffic violation ends with fine. So no one is bothered much to follow traffic rules.

I am not a tamilian but a malayali born and raised in Delhi and Ggn.
I think this is this one of the biggest issue with the Indians driving on the road . The majority are desensetized and unaware of the basic traffic rules . Major reasons :
1) Mob mentality : Everyone does it why shouldn't I thought process.
2) Poor monitoring , lax traffic rules enforcement- the police are more interested in taking money/bribe for useless reasons than the right ones . And most of the time giving a Rs 100 or Rs 200 bribe will let them go scot free. There should be violating citings attached to DL . DL should be confiscated or terminated as per the severity and frequency of the issues / default.
3) Far too many people get to drive vehicles and licence without basic training and proper method/process/evaluation.
4) Lastly there is also an issue with the traffic flow mgmt and poor roads and planning , insufficient road width for the number of vehicles plying on the road ( it is closely linked to pt 3).
