    One of my favorites! I have a circa 2007-2008. I get a fantastic light, dry incense accord in the early stages. The scent lasts all day and definitely makes it's presence known. Great stuff.

    What a fragrance gem. Always great when a designer hits one out the park.

    Prada Infusion d’Iris is a beautiful scent. It’s light but very long lasting in me. It’s one of the few fragrances that I own that is a peek a boo veil. Hours and hours later it’s wisp by my nose to say Hi! Then disappear again. Always present but sometimes hidden. It’s lovely.
    I do get a dirt caked root effect after abt 3/4 hrs that I don’t love but the gossamer veil is so pretty that I tolerate the roots. 😏
    I have a bottle from 2009/10.
    I also have the Absolute version which may be worth seeking out if you’re taken w the scent.

    This is one of my favorite fragrances. I have some left from an edp bottle that I bought in 2014 (2011 formulation). I also have the edt and my mom had a 50 ml bottle of the 2015 reformulation. From my experience I can tell you that the 2015 edp opens like the edt (that's been discontinued), that fresh, sweet carroty smell. And dries down fairly similar to the 2011 edp, albeit a tad sweeter. The 2011 edp version smells a bit drier and colder. I love all three of them, but my heart goes to the 2011 edp. I hope this helped you.

      I just purchased a bottle from a grey market vendor with a reliable reputation It is a sealed boxed bottle EDP. The immediate opening is bright citrus which is almost immediately overtaken by the slightly bitter sweet thing and then comes powder and about 15 - 20 minutes in there starts to be hits of very dry floral sweetness admist the powder and if you smell at skin level you can still get hints of bitter. There was no heavy sweetness in the opening, only that initial burst of citrus which will be wonderful in summer and then as described. This is my first time using it so I'm interested to see if it develops further. It's my first Iris scent and I can already see that it will be perfect for summer especially in the humidity!

    I bought the D'Homme version of this fragrance (EDT) when it came out. I tried both versions and chose the D'Homme version, then later bought the Absolute which is very sweet and powdery. I love them both and find it funny that I even have them, they are not really what I normally gravitate to in fragrance. Sometimes when something is so very popular and I have previously dismissed it for being mainstream, I have to retry it, just to see if I "get" it. I am glad I purchased these fragrances and I reach for them often when I just want something that becomes "my skin but better" or when I just want something I don't have to worry about. Great review, thanks!

    Great review 💜 do you prefer this over la femme? Both are soapy clean and I am having a hard time choosing between the two. What do you think?

    I, by chance, bought the Prada Infusion D'homme which is obviously for men. It had a musky, vanilla, and iris scent. It worked for me even as a woman. I was wondering if this D'Iris has that unisex vibe to it as well.
    I love how you describe this as a designer fragrance which seems safe (or mainstream) on the outside but actually has that avant garde tone once it lingers.

      Ricca Shaps hi i found the mens version more soapy but nice, similar even , the bottles from 2007 to 2014 for women are more interesting theres a lovely incence note the mens doesnt have. personaly i found the womens edp more feminine than the mens a bit. you should adore it though its beautiful :)

      @@gina2190 I loved the Men's version exactly because it had a clean, soapy smell as you've described. It could seriously pass as unisex. I am really curious about the Infusion D'Iris though. Will test it one time. Thanks!

    I adore iris and I love this fragrance as well. I have various iterations of it and they are all wonderful on me. I related to your comment that wearing this made you feel like wearing nothing but iris fragrances, yes, I totally get that. I like the way you review fragrances, it's very thorough and well thought out, thank you!

    I love this fragrance. It's one of my favourites. I know you're a fan of Penhaligon's, if you like Iris you should try Iris Prima from them. It's gorgeous!

    Love this review! Just recently, I bought a 200ml prada infusion d’iris from a buy and sell platform online and upon trying it, im pretty sure that it is 100% legit. Just that, when I checked batch code I found out that I got a 9 year old bottle..made in 2011. It smells superb and I love love love it but would it be okay to still use this old perfume for the next 6-12months?

    • @sidselalbertsen898
      @sidselalbertsen898 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! Absolutely Sonetimes old batched has better ingredients and has way better perfomance. Not allways as some goes bad, but older fragranxes can be very popular in the frag comminity, because of better juice 🌷

    I have a quick question...if you had to make a choice between buying Eau My Soul or the original version of Oud Bouquet right now buy and one later...which would it be? Oud Bouquet is on Notino and fragrancenet for $63...they have both been hit or miss for me on frags longevity. I know it's on the Lancome website but I think the older version is $185 and that I don't have right now. If I bought EMS, right now it would be a 30ml bottle. Also, I already know I love EMS. I'm soo torn because that's a steal deal on Oud Bouquet but no telling if that longevity might be compromised. What do you think?

    • @Apero1Spritz

      Jaded Muse Oud Bouquet lasts forever and some more

    • @JadedMuse2
      @JadedMuse2 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joe W that's what I've heard...which I really appreciate but I've also had Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme last 30 minutes from Notino which makes me nervous to order on the special...but if it lasts forever and is a few years old that's not too bad. Been testing Eau My Soul for a few days and getting 24+ hours on skin...from a dabber sample bottle, which is great longevity. I really want both right now. :)

      Joe W Oh, also my favorite perfume is Lancome La Nuit Tresor and I love it because of the praline/incense in it...that was done so well!

      Id say start out with Oud Bouquet. Thats a terrific price for a phenomenal fragrance but you truly cant go wrong with EMS!

      I am a woman and I bought this fragrance by accident. I wasn't looking much at the label but i just smelled it and bought it. It actually has that unisex vibe to it. Definitely doesn't smell like those mainstream, strong, overpowering masculine fragrances.
