Saranya Sarkar
Saranya Sarkar, a rising flutist from the state of West Bengal, is the disciple of esteemed flutist Sri Uday Dey. Sri Dey is carrying the rich heritage of classical music from Pt. Pranab Mukherjee of Benaras Gharana and transmitting the same to his devoted scholar Saranya. Saranya is now fourteen years old and studying eighth standard. He has started his musical journey in 2019 and still continuing his musical sessions under the direction of Sri Uday Dey. Saranya has participated in many state and National level music competitions and secured the topmost position in almost all cases. Among them are Sangeet Milon, CVOI 2022, JHANKRITI 2022, Routes 2 Roots 2022, Chhandayan International Competition of Performing Arts 2023, VISHVAS Sangeet Pratiyogita Haryana 2023, Sangeet Piyasi Competition 2023.
Nabarun Dutta
Nabarun Dutta is a burgeoning Tabla artist representing the contemporary generation. He is under the tutelage of the illustrious Tabla Maestro, Pt. Parimal Chakraborty, an exponent of the Farukkhabad Gharana. Nabarun's academic journey in music is commendable, as he has earned a Master's degree (M. Mus) in Tabla and subsequently completed an M. Phil, both from Rabindra Bharati University (RBU). Presently, he is a PhD Scholar at Vishwa Bharati University and holds the prestigious title of a B High-Grade artist with All India Radio in Kolkata.
Nabarun is a regular performer, captivating audiences both in India and abroad. His repertoire includes solo performances as well as accompanying other artists, and he has graced numerous prestigious venues and event banners with his remarkable Tabla skills.
