V10, the perfect balance between V8 growl and V12 scream. God we'll miss them when their gone. A little like Rory on Top Gear. We didn't know what we had until we lost it.
I don't know what it was, but I had tears rolling up my eyes when I heard the scream of this gorgeous naturally aspirated V10 flying by at 1:12. I've loved every generation of it ever since the very beginning - from the Gallardos and the R8s up to the Huracan STO. It's like losing an old friend that I've always deeply admired. Thank you for letting this gorgeous engine and car leave their testament before they inevitably get replaced.
I keep coming to the channel everyday to see if something new is up, if it isn't i just watch the previous videos, so well curated and meticulously delivered.
So I have mentioned I LOVE the man infront of the camera before but I want to add that it is the whole package that keeps me engaged. From camera work to post processing and color correction that makes each video look like a mini movie! Thank you for the continued entertainment and production quality!
I think my favorite thing about the STOs are just how cool the color combinations look and how varied they are. Besides the blue and orange launch versions, I've seen so many different combos that all look beautiful. Feel like thats how I'm gonna remember it.

The excitement, the glee,etc I could go on. The Rory exuberance, is real- when describing the weight saving is with real enthusiasm and the way this car darts from corner to corner. I await with bated breath for an electric car than can do the same, for me the STO represents so much and yes the love from Rory to this car is not fake but the real deal
If Chris Harris and Henry Catchpole had a kid it would be Rory. He’s like both of them in 1. Has Chris Harris driving passion and explanation of how the car feels and Henry story telling. Excellent Rory always well done.
The Huracan is still though my favorite super car. I love it so much. From design to performance to even practicality. It's a badass car that is timeless in changing times.
The "shark fin" on the roof does actually do something. It prevents the rear from stepping out while cornering at high speed. It might not be as important on road cars as on race cars tho since they probably don't have enough downforce to carry the neccessary cornering speed for it to have a noticeable effect. That's my theory at least. Great review!!!
I dont know if its just me but all Rory Lambo videos are my best. I really think Rory should own a lambo it just suits him and the driving ability is great
Great review as always Rory - personally I'm really not keen on Lambo's fussy new front and rear-end accoutrements ; the Evo RWD version would do for me.
EVs are still so new and all the manufacturers renowned for high performance cars we loved for so long, haven’t got their hands on the tech. Porsche has done it and succeeded it seems, BMW and Merc-AMG have just pulled the covers off theirs, Audi’s EV for fun is too new, but given what I’ve heard, it’s a very enjoyable machine. We’re still waiting for Lotus to see what they’re new Alpine EV collab is going to produce, but those companies employ lightweight, driver-oriented philosophies, so we should be okay. We can be sad now, but we may be surprised when the EV sports car comes of age. We’ll get a different type of noise, that has great potential to be just as engaging. The only barrier to us believing in it, is ourselves. I know it’s tough, but don’t cling to the ICE too much for too long, otherwise you’ll always be sad. Us petrolheads can’t live in a bubble.
Rory, Well done. This is your best production yet. Lots of enthusiasm, presented with much charm and just the right amount of technical details. This may not be peak Lambo next to the Performante, but it's definitely Peak Rory.
You gotta watch his review on the 812 Superfast. That one was cinematic to another level. You would expect a big budget of old Top Gear, but they're doing it on a YT channel with less than 1 million sub.

I have a friend who has a few exotic cars (McLaren, Aston Martin, Lamborghini) so I have driven these types of cars few a quite times. When you drive cars like this performance numbers don`t really matter anymore. What starts to matter is how the car makes you feel and how fun it can be. This is something that cannot be measured it can only be experienced. Which is why its very frustrating when people only look at performance numbers to judge a car on. Electric car people tend to do this without realized there is more to a performance car than just how fast it goes to 60mph.
Great review Rory, that engine can work harder though, mych harder to 1500 hp + with twin turbos, Even seen a supercharged one but obvs regs prohibit such shananigans! That sound though! !
You should have the important aspects of the car you are reviewing in the video description. For instance with this Lamborghini huracan STO you should list its MSRP, engine, horsepower, torque, what wheels are driven, and transmission. Please at least consider adding this, I think it would be rather helpful.
Lovely review. But all the foam used in it isn't polystyrene, but it's polypropylene foam that has far better dampening characteristics and longevity. It also has phenomenal impact absorbing characteristics, which is the reason why it's used a lot in bumpers and crash guards
The sharkfin is quite useful aerodynamically in stopping oversteer, it's why so many race cars have them (unless they're banned). The problem is that they ruin some of the fun driving. A perfect race car is perfectly stable and has no oversteer or understeer, but a car that feels fast is more unstable and has some oversteer and is rear limited even though this makes it a bit slower. That feeling that makes it feel fast also makes it more fun to drive as it provides the owner the illusion of going faster, and hence most sporty cars for the road are rear limited and hence why sharkfins aren't popular. All they do is make the car more stable which helps make it easier to go faster but ruins the fun significantly while not improving lap times that much, hence why supercar manufacturers don't use them. Even on this, it's pretty small to not make a huge impact on the fun aspect, and as you said is likely there more for design purposes. There's also the legality of them, it'll be very difficult to make a sharkfin legal.

I'm sad that cars will never be this awesome ever again. I get it we need to move on from fossil fuels but these cars have so much character

The roof scoop is actually for channeling air through the engine bay to help with cooling the engine. Great review of an fantastic car.
