I love that in most of the reaction videos I've seen to S-Class, someone asks "Oh, where is this?" And then IMMEDIATELY: Changbin with his earth shaking volume and intensity "THIS IS SEOUL!" Everyone just kind of nods and goes "Ah yes, thank you. I see." and it makes me laugh every time.
I like how when one of the reactors gives props to a particular member, you add in their picture. Like when Han was complimented for his rap style. It's a nice touch.
I totally get it. The first time I heard Thunderous I thought they were saying ‘Sonic Boom’. 😂 It’s amazing how our brains want it to make sense in our native language. Once I became a STAY I started to absorb more of the Korean language.
Totally understandable to not be able to really get into s-class the first listen, since it's a very intriguing song.. even the kids themselves have said in their intro, that their first reaction to the song was like 'what kind of song is this?' It definitely throws people off.. but that's what I love about it as well.. it's definitely an experience and it's like every listen you can hear something new that you didn't notice the previous times. Thank you so much for this guys❤❤ enjoyed it so much hihi
S Class isn't my favorite song (I think it's more a collection of interesting ideas than a great song) but I do give Stray Kidz credit for trying something new.
It's not my favorite either, but I have to give them credit. They can put out music that says "Stray Kids" without just sounding like the same song, if that makes sense. I respect them as artists. This is the first time I listened to it all the way through in a while and... It really did grow on me.
I really like this song and it is actually one of my favorites by them, I actually loved it on my first listen. I do however like and listen to pretty much any kind of genre of music and I even like what some call noise music. As much as I like this song, my favorite song by them is actually My Pace.
In my case, it made a lot of sense to me, I don't know. I simply enjoyed it from start to the end in my first listen. I noticed that they mixed a lot of different things but they came well together and achieved a good result. It's not a 'another experimental song that's just is a lot of meaningless noise because they ran out of ideas' as many random kpopers say. In fact, there are kpop songs that I don't like bc they suddenly throw in the typical crazy dance break with thousands of strident sounds that have been used thousands of times before. To me, S class seems like a very risky song made with good taste . I don't know if this makes much sense since I don't speak English XD
I wasn’t sure I liked it the first few times I heard it. It took a few listens for my brain to sort it out and decide, and now I love it. I did find it fascinating from the first listen, though.
I remember thinking “this song will be divisive for some people” when I first listened to it and I love how unafraid they are to experiment and subvert peoples expectations :D Really hyped for 楽-star!
It's not my favorite song (more of a collection of interesting ideas) but I give them credit. Sometimes experimenting and subverting people's expectations work - but then sometimes it doesn't (i.e. Exo's Wolf - still don't like that song).
I absolutely love how you guys always enjoy and appreciate Stray Kids and how "different" they are. They somehow make these type of songs blend with all the different beat switches. Not all songs need to be predictable. You may have to listen to this a few times to like it. I've been waiting for you guys to react to their most recent songs.
I love when musicians and producers react. Your insights are priceless for those of us without the ability to appreciate the complexity and creativity inherent in Stray Kids songs. I’m a writer, so lyrics hit me hardest, and I used to dance, so I can key into choreography. I truly enjoy hearing opinions and breakdowns from excellent musicians. Please give us more Stray Kids!
I will die on the hill that S-Class has such a pretty instrumental. It's a lot to take in at first but when you keep listening to it and you start recognising parts by just the bgm and less of the vocals, it's a masterpiece. I love the unpredictability of it, and that right as you think, ok I've gotten used to it, they can't surprise you, they give the dance break 😂😂😂 I also loved the different reactions to the same parts. Shows that music taste is subjective and even you might not know you like something based on the description until you've heard it for yourself. All in all, loved the video. Thanks for this 💚💚💚 Can't wait for when y'all do something from Rockstar 😌
@@galfilly It was My Pace and Miroh if I remember correctly. After My Pace’s release I was still just curiously lurking on some of their youtube videos and when Miroh released, it was the tipping point for me becoming a stay :D
I enjoy these videos so much, especially when you include / explain the words and phrases the musicians use that many of us may not already know. Also, the way you edit your videos has just gotten better and better. I know Bang Chan and some of the other SKZ watch your videos, and that is so cool. Keep up the great work!
Agreed. The editing and explanations of what we are hearing & why it's pleasing or not was always a great interest to me. Any having musicians explain why is like going to a masterclass music appreciation class. Since Chan doesn't like to explain his music, he must be glad they can and will. lol..
@@Resistance_Is_Futile1of3 Although Chan plays multiple instruments, sings and writes music, I don't think he's formally trained, in depth, in any of that (meaning, compared to the ReacttotheK musicians). That's probably why - at least in part - he doesn't explain the songs in detail. I think Chan goes by instinct. He writes and produces the way I cook - I don't usually use a recipe. I just keep throwing stuff in the pot until it tastes right. I think that's the way he is, too. He just keeps mixing things (vocals, samples, etc) in there until it sounds right.
@@JAMoore-zz3ki I do like the way he "cooks the beats" & his instincts always sounds great to me & I like that I can know why. You also express ideas very well, very simple and to the point. Thank you for sharing them with Stay. I like being able to say "Yea.. what JAM..said.. ditto"

woah, I haven't been on this channel in forever and seeing how much its grown, like the production?? kinda brings a tear to my eye. also love how korean-influenced it really is, it's all great. this is one of the very few reaction channels I genuinely look up if I want a reaction on something, because the mix between humor, editing and actual musical analyzing is top notch. Loved 'em when they were getting together in empty classrooms, hearing other students practice next door, the general chaos of a bunch of music students in the same building - but seeing them now in what I'm assuming is a proper studio, with proper equipment and seeing the SAME effort being made with research and editing but just at a higher scale is just...idk, it makes me happy. this had nothing to do with this video at all, I'm just fanboying over strangers' accomplishments.
It's totally normal not to get hooked the first time you listen to it, it's very difficult to follow because there is a lot of EVERYTHING and that is what makes skz a very complete and very varied group. When the rhythm changes in the changbin part, it's like a roller coaster and the last rap fills you with a different euphoria and emotion. The same thing happened to me with case 143, it as very difficult for me but over time you get used to it and you realize how much work goes into it. 3racha makes art ! By the way, I love this series! I love hearing opinions from different musicians, it makes me notice the relevance that skz has in their career 💗
The struggle of filming music students 😅 when a song is released during the summer, we can’t get to it till school is back in session, then editing takes another few weeks to a month lol…
I will never stop admiring Seungmin and this applies to absolutely everything, both his personality and his talent. Seungmin's vocals are just something unthinkable apart from the fact that he perfectly or rather skillfully owns his voice with each new album, his level of professionalism reaches new heights each time his vocals amaze more and more with their power, range and variety. I am looking forward to his solo album in the future with the greatest impatience.
I would LOVE for 3Racha to come on your channel sometime and just talk music with you all. (I mean, ultimately all the guys, but since 3Racha are SO involved with their production) I could watch hours of that.

I kept trying to hear it myself, but adding the graphics, counting out the beats and the lyrics was perfect! Thanks for the video as always : )
We got bang chan indeed 😂 its so cool having so many ears listen to it and express their impressions and insights of a polar end leaning towards "ditching a bridge that has ever bridged" to the other end of wanting to be grounded by a familiar sound to an otherwise demanding song that you wouldnt want to keep repeating just to like it. Like, the openness of discussing a song without having to care if your personal tastes offend someone and turning it into a debate is what i like about this channel. Just musicians breaking down a song's elements

I love hearing the musical analysis on SKZ’s music! it’s an aspect of their music that they don’t talk about much and it’s really nice to hear the intricacies of the songs verbalized and explained! Singling out individual instruments and sounds was also awesome
Superb analysis again... ☆Love they use : 빛깔 뻔쩍 빛깔 뻔쩍 Bichkkal ppeonjjeog Bichkkal ppeonjjeog - Literally it means brightly coloured which is the good way of saying "flashy". Usually flashy is taken as being or appearing vulgar and would be 불 같은 ( bul gat-eun ) ☆That boom bap drop into that heavy kick/snare combo.. !! ☆Serpent Road refers to a challenging and winding journey to success. ☆ Incredible MV again from Bang Jae Yeob - yes he did this, The Sound, Circus, Maniac, Scars, Thunderous, All In, Back Door, Gods Menu, aespa- Welcome to my World, Itzy-Mafia In The Morning, Seventeen-FML, BSS-Fighting, Crush-Rush Hour, NCT127-Gimme Gimme... his style is so unique.. ☆ And Kevin's use of "fire".. kekw
I love so much how you insert all the pictures and sounds to really clarify what everyone is talking about, so it's easier for the audience to follow the technical explanations. It's such great editing on top of valuable discussions and genuine reactions, i enjoy it a lot
I was waiting for this!! Love your reactions! The editing gets better every video, and the beat explanations (like hyunjins part) are always so interesting.
i loved this reaction. it's always insightful to see the musical breakdown from experts. can't wait to see you all lose your minds for ROCKSTAR. It is an insane album.
I just realised. OCTOPI HAVE 8 tentacles!! And each tentacle has its own brain (kind of). And this one has one eye - ONE VISION. Great analogy for Stray Kids :D
Omg, I feel clowned again, like with the whole skz lore, which I still not fully comprehend. However, I feel perfectly entertained by anything skz does!
Finally, I can see your reaction to Stray Kids again! I'm so happy! Only you produce such meaningful, interesting, intelligent reactions to their music. And the creativity of this guys really deserves it! Thank you thank you thank you! As always, you made me happy, and made me a little sad that I once gave up the violin and left professional musicians. I also hear and understand that the music of Stray Kids is much more interesting and complicated than ordinary pop music, but unfortunately I can't describe all these interesting nuances as you do. You open my eyes to many things and confirm my opinion about others. I would be happy to subscribe to your Patreon if I were not a Russian. I am very upset by the fact that I cannot subscribe, but as soon as I have this opportunity I will be with you! You're all wonderful!!! With love and respect, Natalia🩵
Thanks for the reaction. S class is kind of coming back flashy title song after Case143 and Maniac. I flet it shout "we are back" with more and more flashy.
It will always be not enough for me Seungmin his amazing voice can be listened to endlessly and his incredible beauty is simply impossible not to admire.
Great video. Note on the bridge. I noticed with every reaction video I watched, the reactors would talk over Bang Chan's part in the bridge. Like it finally gave them a relaxed second to actually respond. I was stunned by how many people talked over that part.
Kim Seungmin, what are you doing anyway? Is there at least something in this world that doesn't suit you-NO😭Well, how can you be so beautiful so beautiful it 's just mind-boggling😭
As someone who has limited musical knowledge, I love hearing the purely musical reviews y’all give. It’s so insightful and I learn so much. P.S. the black and whit Bang Chan black etc was outta pocket😂
I hope you check into their album intro series. They talk about so many musical details, stories about their songs, performances and It's super interesting

- Literally it means brightly coloured which is the good way of saying "flashy". Usually flashy is taken as being or appearing vulgar and would be 불 같은 ( bul gat-eun )
☆That boom bap drop into that heavy kick/snare combo..
☆ And Kevin's use of "fire".. kekw
I love the explanation you flashed on the screen with the numbers for verse 1!!
Oh yeah...... "WE GOT BANG CHAN, WE GOT BANG CHAN, WE GOT BANG CHAN!!!"
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love this reaction ❤
I love so much how you insert all the pictures and sounds to really clarify what everyone is talking about, so it's easier for the audience to follow the technical explanations. It's such great editing on top of valuable discussions and genuine reactions, i enjoy it a lot
I was waiting for this!! Love your reactions!
The editing gets better every video, and the beat explanations (like hyunjins part) are always so interesting.
i loved this reaction. it's always insightful to see the musical breakdown from experts. can't wait to see you all lose your minds for ROCKSTAR. It is an insane album.
This is the first time i heard WE GOT BANGCHAN AND NOW I CAN'T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD 😂
"I don't want it to end, I wanna hear more of this."
sums up my feelings when listening to skz songs
Loooove this reaction. I learned so much and noticed so many more details!
Always love your Stray Kids reactions.
Now I can't unhear *WE GOT BANG CHAN, WE GOT BANG CHAN* 🤣
I love that the sounds we’re switching because it kept me interested in wanting to keep listening to the whole song instead of getting bored
I've been waiting for this since their comeback thank you for finally posting the reactions ♥

Shoutout to the editor(s?). I was cracking up throughout this.
