On watching this documentary, who would guess that did not follow you, that the softly spoken lady with the lilting voice and lyrical turn of phrase could deliver so important a message for our planet so gently and yet so powerfully. Amazing Collette and inspiring. Thank you

Thank you Collette for all you do, and for highlighting the destruction caused by materialism in our society. We are only the caretakers of our beautiful earth, we don’t own it, so it is surely our duty to care for and nurture our little patch while we can.
Brilliantly filmed and a story brilliantly told. Would that everyone on the planet watches this and follows Colette's example; we'd all be living in paradise.
Colette O'Neill's TH-cam videos have been such a joy to watch over the past year or so that words fail me. The woman inspires me and calms me down at the same time. When she's out on her walks, I turn up the volume and my apartment is filled with the sound of the birds on her land singing and calling. Another lady who loves Colette's videos told me she also cranks up the volume to listen to the birdsong. She says this completely befuddles her cat.
Hope there are plans to enter this film to any and all film festivals. Congratulations Colette on getting your message out there and also to James for singling out the Bealtaine project. Paradise Regained!

No matter what religion we do or don’t follow, the bottom line is we’re destroying Mother Earth. Thank you Collette for this compassionate message. The overhead view of your property brought tears to my eyes. “Plant like your life depends on it for it does”, I will hold this close to my heart as I begin a journey of planting on a newly purchased piece of land.

I feel that it is imperative that Colette’s message - plant, plant, plant….plant like your life depends on it, for it does - must reach as many people as possible!! The extreme weather events that we’re having are evidence of the need to plant and to change our ways!!
Here in Canada, as the west was gripped with an intense heat wave, a small town in British Columbia set a high temperature record of 49.6 degrees Celsius (121.3 degrees Farhrenheit) for 3 days!!! A couple days later, the same town burned to the ground!!
If each person does what Colette has done with our own yards, our own land, our own community, I firmly believe that we can collectively make a huge difference to the climatic events that we’re increasingly seeing!

Dearest Colette, your story never grows old and always inspires.I especially like your encouragement to look at Mother Earth in different ways.After surviving the Australian bushfires of 2018 and 2020, I was dismayed to see idealists replanting after the fires, with those same native plants that have evolved specifically to burn, when we have so many botanical species to choose from.This doesn't make sense to me, nor does the logging of forests that began again just days after the fires were put out. Like charity, change must begin at a personal level, and this, as you have shown,Colette, is possible.Thank you, blessings from Australia.

Decades of excess ....so very very true, my friends can’t believe I have no Netflix or a laptop at home, they think I’m being left behind.... if only they realised I’m in front and happiest in my quiet, gardening and enjoying living in a rural idyll.. I’m indeed The fulfilled one like you Colette 💕

The most important message for our troubled times. Thank you for putting it across so compellingly. A disarmingly simple solution which each and every one of us can implement - whether we have a pot on a window ledge or a large tract of land: "Plant, as if your life depends on it, because it does". Reminds me of one of my favourite quotes by Bill Mollison:
"Though the problems of the world are increasingly complex, the solutions remain embarrassingly simple."

thank you for the inspiration, it moved me and made me smile....I'm in the proces of planting, moved so many times from country to country. This time I stay and connect with the earth here and "claim" my little cottage at the edge of a forest and will create a paradise.

Wonderful!! I've often thought that it must be more than 3 acres there... it seems so vast when you are walking around showing it. And yet, from the aerial views, it really is 3 acres. But such an important 3 acres!! I find it hard to reconcile the vastness of the interior terrain with the almost postage stamp size of it when seen from the exterior. it reminds me of those first pictures of Earth taken from the moon. Such a tiny isolated blue orb when seen from a distance, and yet within it is a vast and wondrous place. Loved hearing you speak about Mother Earth. Thank you!

What is so fantastic and extraordinary to me is that you have demonstrated and proved to the whole of Ireland how ridiculous is the idea that the land in the North West of Ireland is somehow poorer than the rest of Ireland.
