Massive greed has stopped so many people from grasping what’s important in life . We don’t even need half the things we are told we have to have . Look what this lady has done with a little slice of land . She created a place that will feed her, relax her , bring joy to others and she recreated a cottage a very skinny budget because she doesn’t waste things . I watch a man build homes for people out of materials people throw away . Also the less money you have the more creative you have to become . My grandma rarely threw any thing away . She even used old cardboard egg cartons as compost . Well any way that’s why I’m glad I discovered this little cottage on three acres .

I am wondering about cnnecting to Mother Earth as a way of healing the lack of love from ones own Mother. The damage done. I haveworked with the Earth for over 50 years.💝 not acknowledging it as a Mother's sustaining love. Definitely a healing loving sourse all the same.💜

I clicked on this video and thought I had paused it as I went to my kitchen, but got in there and just stopped. I was hearing the birds outside my window and the birds at Bealtaine cottage and the windchimes on my balcony and the ones there and, not realizing the video was playing, felt like I had come at some place between worlds. I thought, those are not my birds, those are not my windchimes. Where is that heavenly sound coming from? I just stood there and this feeling of profound bliss came over me and I felt like I must be in paradise right there in my dirty little kitchen. I realized the video was playing and laughed, of course, but I still had a tingly feeling like some little bit of magic had occurred. What a beautiful place that is to transcend its physical boundaries and be felt here in Arkansas in the US. Thank you for sharing your visit with us, Terri. ☘

wow...that is amazing all that she has done. very encouraging for what I can do where I live. I went to her website and read the first two chapters of her book. I loved it when she wrote... that she doesn't live on the land, but with it. I had a yoga teacher tell me once, "when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change" when you think of living with the land and not just ON it, it makes an aha moment. I think it is a good beginning thought to re-connect with the land. thank you for visiting and posting the video.

I have already done lots of container gardening in the place I am renting, including some dwarf rootstock fruit trees which I hope to properly plant one day :) I have rhubarb, so many herbs, blackcurrants, raspberry, strawberries, kale, tomatoes, jasmine, all kinds of flowers, potatoes, onions, sprouts, carrots, all in reused buckets. It will do for now but I cannot wait to create a real thriving ecosystem!
