As someone who lives in a town with 4 country stations (Springfield, IL) 3 of them play shit (I don't hear this, nothing but that pile of crap FGL and don't get me started on Luke Bryan) and 1 plays country from the 70, 80s, and 90s.
Had to add I'm 66 years old , I Know Country and you are it !

I have grown up forced to listen to country gold by my father. I have an appreciation for Willie and Waylon and Merle, but i don't like country never really have. But I was listening to Chris Stapleton radio on iTunes music and this song popped up. WOW!!! I listen to it at least 5 times a day, I'm listening to anything else I can find by Cody, and anything close to it. I still don't own any boots, but you better believe if you get close to Huntsville al, I am coming to your show. Hit me in my soul.
Southeast Alabama loves your music Mr.Jinks you know the music buisness is political when a man this genuine from the gut song dont get the airplay and exposure he should while a big groud of candy ass tractor rap artists take over. I dont listen to the radio anymore because of this, this man has lost more talent and heart than any of this new breed of country singers (if you want to refer to them as such) will ever have. Keep it up brother you dont have anything to prove to anyone. You got your loyal following espically this man from south Alabama.

It brings to mind the verse " let he who is without sin cast the first stone" I'm a Christian but beating someone over the head with a bible is never the way! Caught Cody with Whitey Morgan and the 78's in Memphis last Friday, believe me when I tell you IT WAS AWESOME. I have seen alot of shows.....played alot of shows myself....if these guys are nearby and you miss their show, then shame on you. Real music ain't dead....you just have to look for it...Keep up the awesome work.

WOW!!! What a song! What a voice!! What a guitarist!!! This song may not be on every radio station across America but I can assure you, it is on my computer and gets played numerous times each day. Cody we need more "stuff" like this. Koodos to that fabulous guitarist (from an "old timer" who used to this stuff when I was a kid). Great job by all!!!
