The vi pick was insanity for me, like it wasn't a counter to try to pick an immobile adc or mid but instead 1-2 red side like wtf is that lol, if your jungler can play so many unorthodox picks why no give the last pick to enable that strat.
Basically this series taught me that Fly should make it out of the 2-2 pool. They have proven all tournament they are very good at coming back from behind so now all they need to do is work on their early game and be in the lead early.

I think in this year's worlds its actually fun to watch NA teams. There were many NA teams that did terrible in the past worlds. But I think both TL and Flyquest have potential and its not as painful to watch these games as it was in the past. Its huge that Flyquest took a game from HLE, I didnt think its possible.

In Season 2 Worlds, M5 won their games with picks no-one else was playing (such as Zilean mid) and in the post-game interview after beating one of the asian teams Alex Ich said when asked about their win "we just pick broken heroes" lmao. That series and that interview is what made me fall for this game all those years ago, FLY are channelling that same energy here and I love it!

Don't put too much stock in it. Flyquest won 3 games in this tournament. Against GAM, a close one against PSG, and against a trolling HLE... It's not something to jerk yourself about...
