I wish all instructional videos were like this. No fluff, no extra chit-chat, just an accurate, helpful explanation in under 2 minutes. Well done! Thank you!
I recently purchased the Ring stick up Cam and was overwhelmed by the amount of info included in the instructions, that didn't pertain to what I needed to know. I totally agree with all previous posts, this is a very very good video. Good thing I waited a few days to put my cameras up!
Straight to the point and exactly what I needed to know. No instructions on how to get the bottom off by pushing down. I almost broke it til I watched your video. Excellent. Thank you
** I just bought one - and BLESS YOU for creating this QUICK vid, STRAIGHT TO THE POINT without the usual in between fluff, with very CLEAR instructions on this! I am so not mechanically inclined - so this was TRULY instrumental in helping this single girl out! THANK YA! 🤩
Great, simple, clear instructions. I bought the cameras over 1 year ago and have had it temporarily installed. I lost the instructions, so this gave me exactly what I needed.
Thanks for the video. This is a very easy install but before watching your video, I had no idea that you take the base off and then screw it on the back. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this clear and concise instruction - I spent much of yesterday trying to make sense of the so-called Ring manual, Ring support and common sense. It is so not obvious. in the time this video took to watch, I am absolutely sure of the installation. Many Thanks
Thank you! I couldn’t get the camera to slide on to the bracket, and this video showed me I had put a mounting screw in the security screw spot on the bracket. Very clear and concise video. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very informative. If I could offer a suggestion, I would ask that you start with the unpackaging. It took me a while to figure out that the mounting screws were hidden inside the box. Also, removing the mounting plate took some doing. Going over both those a little more in-depth would help the mechanically disinclined (me) figure it out. Otherwise, your video was head and shoulders above what Ring provided.
I bought this camera awhile back but never mounted it. I figured out how to change the mounting plate on my own. I was searching for tips and found this video, did not know about the security screws. I probably have to order some. Thanks...
thank you. i was confused on how to slide the grey part off the base. also I didn't know about the mounting it on the back. that gives so many more options. thank you. PS I looked at the directions first.
I spent about 10 minutes watching the ring video. It was really hard to follow along. I found this video and had all three cameras up really fast. Thank you so much!
Superb video! I could not figure any of Ring's instructions. I followed your steps up until the point of screwing one of the security screws underneath (at 1:26 of video). No matter how I try it, I cannot line up the hole on the cover with the hole in the battery compartment. What the heck am I doing wrong? Here I was so totally jazzed that everything was going great up until I hit that point. I know it is something I'm not doing correctly, but no idea what! I'd be most appreciative if you (or any of the readers) could give me a hint. Thanks so much!
If they are idiotic-enough to get up on a ladder, to mess with your property, AS it’s recording them, then that’s pure gold as evidence to take to the police. I’m dealing with idiots nextdoor and thought it was best to get the Ring cam. I’m installing it tonight, thanks to this easy-to-follow video. 😊
Rawl plugs if it's a dry wall/stone, or a piece of wood if you have no rawl plugs, jammed into the space a rawl plug would normally go after drilling- also works well.
Please consider giving the video a like, it's very much appreciated.
HI Thanks this was "Excellent" To the point & no me me me!!!
I wish all instructional videos were like this. No fluff, no extra chit-chat, just an accurate, helpful explanation in under 2 minutes. Well done! Thank you!
I agree
EXACTLY!!!!!!!! RIGHT TO THE POINT! 👌👌☑☑
Everything you need to know and nothing you don’t 👍
Better video than the one uploaded by Ring themselves. THANKS SO MUCH!! 😊😊

For 4 years I literally thought the only way to mount one of these was to do so upside down. Arguably, the greatest video in history of mankind.
This guy explained so well. Crisp and to the point. Well done sir

Wow; yours is about the best short, complete tutorial I've ever watched. For any device! Thanks!
Thank you so very much for your patience and step by step. This momma just put up her camera like a boss!!! Greetings from Jamaica 🖤🇯🇲🖤
Thank you! I couldn’t get the camera to slide on to the bracket, and this video showed me I had put a mounting screw in the security screw spot on the bracket. Very clear and concise video. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Simple but very informative. This is how all installation videos should be. Thank you

Thank you from this video all I need it to know is “ where are them screws “ you the hero of this video.
I bought this camera awhile back but never mounted it. I figured out how to change the mounting plate on my own. I was searching for tips and found this video, did not know about the security screws. I probably have to order some. Thanks...
This is how every instructional vid should be! Thank you
I almost returned it because I didn’t know to slide the piece down and access the anchor holes. Thanks buddy ❤
thank you. i was confused on how to slide the grey part off the base. also I didn't know about the mounting it on the back. that gives so many more options. thank you. PS I looked at the directions first.
Awesome and quick description on how to adjust and mount the camera. Thank you you did a great job. Thank you thank you
Much better than the Ring videos!
security screw! I'm so glad thieves have not yet figured out how to operate a screwdriver.
Thank for being clear and understandable.
Perfect video! Straight to the point. Just what I was looking for! Thx!
I just made 200 bucks because you were very good at explaining everything 😂. Thanks!!
Fantastic video. To the point. Very informative. Thank you.
This answered my question completely. People like you I need in my life :)
I finally have installed my first of 2 stick up cams and you have, by far, the best video!
short and sweet! Was struggling for a while following the steps on the app, and then luckily, I found your video. Many thanks 😍
Thank you! You helped this single lady out.
Thank you for doing this video. Ring didn’t provide any instructions and I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to do it.
Great walkthrough of the installation. Many thanks for sharing.
Installation was a breeze with this tutorial. Much better compared to ring instructional guide
Great video very easy to follow
I’m buying two for my house 😊 this video was more than helpful
Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you!!! Very intuitive, great job!
Your instructions were very helpful. Thank you very very much.

Thank you! We could NOT figure it out since it didn’t come with instructions.
Short and to the point! Thanks!
Perfect, too easy to follow. Thank you.
absolutely fantastic set of succinct instructions kind sir...nice one...
Excellent video. Thank you for making installation easy.
Great info, but how do I connect the camera to a cable, if I decide to use the camera indoors ?
Nice and simple instructions. Thanks!
Wow, thank you for the explanation. I learned more from this video than anything from Ring. You have another sub. Cheers!
This video was CRAZY helpful. Thanks so much
You my friend you are a life saver
I spent about 10 minutes watching the ring video. It was really hard to follow along. I found this video and had all three cameras up really fast.
Thank you so much!
10x better than Rings own video 😂
well done on the quick and precise video!!
Informative, clear, concise, excellent!!
Does all the kit including the wall / fence bracket come in the box pls? Or does it have to be bought separately.? Ring outdoor cam
You saved my life. Thank you.
Superb video! I could not figure any of Ring's instructions. I followed your steps up until the point of screwing one of the security screws underneath (at 1:26 of video). thank you for this video i khow now how to mount the stickup cam battery
Good video, getting ready to install one.
Subscribed just bc you made this so easy. Thanks man
Can I ask a question about the 'security screw'? What stops your crazy next door neighbour from unscrewing it and taking the battery out?
Thinking the same.. but, you would see them at least because it's recording them, and being sent to your phone! Neighbors or WHOMEVER!
Threatening to take it off
I’ve been trying to figure this out. There’s nothing secure about these screws at all, just another step

Exceptional video well done !!
Good video. Thank you.
So basically I didn’t need the wall mount I paid an extra £20 for
Literally was about to buy one and this video saved me from it … hopefully you got to return yours !
Almost the same here, but I found that Ring do have a video showing this, but it's not as clear as this video. 😊
Thank you 😊 from California ✅☀️
awesome! your video answer all my questionss
Thanks. Dead easy to follow. Saved my eyes from those tiny instructions
Thank you for sharing this information
Genuinely decent video. Good stuff.
thank you so much! very helpful ❤❤
i was just searching for a wall mount for it, ty for making me not spend more money since it's already in it.
What if I’m drilling into brick what size is the bit?
You’re the GOAT
You are the best!!
Thanks buddy! 👍
Bloody Brilliant n thank you
PERFECT!!!
Great video thank you!
Wow. I ordered a mount, it ended up being the wrong one & this whole time it comes with a built in wall mount
Great video...I got the 3 pack today
Awesome video
well done sir.
How long does the battery last without charging
Thanks for this
Thank you!!!
Will
The camera turn 90 degrees from the fixing plate
Is the security screw a Torx?
Thank you soooo much!
Thank you for sharing!
Genius!!!!!!!
Thanks for this. It's irritating that you don't get any instructions in the box with the camera
This is such a good vid - but I don't think it should be described as a stick up cam if you have to drill the wall
I concur with your comment. I wish they would provide something that you can literally just stick it up with.
How much side to side can the camera tilt?
Thank you.
Do i need anchors if im drilling into drywall ?
Rawl plugs if it's a dry wall/stone, or a piece of wood if you have no rawl plugs, jammed into the space a rawl plug would normally go after drilling- also works well.
Thanks!
Any chance you could do another video on this? I followed your steps and now my camera is mounted to my hand.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂
What camera model is this please?
Superbly easy to follow well done
Where did you get rhe security screw my friend?
The stick up cam comes with security screws.
David Spade?
