His anatomy seems closer to the concept art rather than the in-game model. Same goes for his face. I personally don't really mind, his in-game face always struck me as somewhat derpy.

The green tunic in BOTW is lame and looks like it was rushed. It would be pointless to make a green tunic version.

I like this version of link more because of the shoulder articulation and the fact that the face in the old link Figma was way too big and seemed weird beside my other figures (probably because it is outdated at this point)
there was also other figma characters that are shorter than link in their cannon but had taller figures and made Link seem like a midget, I think they were trying to streamline the whole size thing with this figure
also the new master sword design it's better due to being able to separate the whole handle and not just the tiny piece at the end (easy to get lost)

I personally don’t see anything wrong with the figure except the neck and the fact that the shoulders that extend a little to far if that makes sense
I think that's the hawk mask in the game when he wears it so you zoom in like a sniper scope when shooting arrows

honestly i dont think the proportions are wrong. i have my link sitting next to the amiibo link and it looks spot on
the amiibo isnt whats its based on. bring up a screen shot of link in the game..its not even close. its kinda close to some of the artwork but its still way off.

If you don't want the Switch or the 3DS then nobody can help you with that.
You can always play it on PC. Download Dolphin and emulate the GC titles, or Cemu to play the WiiU remasters/BotW. If you feel shady about downloading the games then you can always buy the disks first to ease your conscience. I'm playing Twilight Princess HD this way and it is phenomenal

and his proportions seem pretty fine to me, although I do notice some slight disproportions, but it's nothing to really be upset about for some people out there, and the Hylian shield and master sword is exactly the same as in twilight princess, I am appreciative for your review, and this is constructive criticism, and I am in no way upset, but just please do a bit more research with some characters your reviewing, other that that, subbed, and I like the review~
a mace can have a chain...it's not metal...the proportions are very much inaccurate. everything i said is accurate.

Micheal Peggins it's not really constructive criticism unless you give them at least one or two things they did right in addition to what they did wrong.

I kinda feel like the links we have been getting from figma could be test links, it's widely accepted that oot is the best Zelda game, and so they are giving us other versions to see what people complain about so they can make the ultimate link when they finally get to ocarina of time. And when they finally do I hope they do a link/epona combo pack, or even a young link/old link combo pack. That'd be sick af
+Cloudxchan that would be awesome but the main problem really is just proportions. They can easily fix that so hopefully it isn't just that they like the style...
AnthonysCustoms I think enough people are going to go on about the proportions concerning this figma, and hopefully good smile will listen and proportion the next ones better. I can't imagine why the company would ignore the complaints of their consumers, yet I see it happen all the time. I have a little more faith in the figma line though so fingers crossed. Still a baller figure, just could be better.

i had a switch but i returned it due to the incredible amount technical problems they had.
The ordon sword comes from ordon village which is where you start of in the game

Good review.. His body really looks terrible.. The accessories are great but the neck looks long and off.. Hopefully i can swap parts with the skyward sword version.. I still have to get this and Zelda though.. My collection will feel incomplete without them..
yeah. theyre worth getting for sure but figma definitely needs to work on their accuracy when it comes to proportions.

The only problem i have is the sword sheath pegs are too short. I can't put the shield on his back without it physically falling out

In Twilight Princess it is actually called Claw shot, but in basically every other game its the Hook shot.

Brian Fiedler it's not "very inaccurate" at all, it has a few small proportion issues, if you know the source material, "very inaccurate" would look MUCH worse. That's objective.
um...no. everything i talked about was objective... you can see it in the video with your own eyes. what am i wrong about? the proportions? no. limited hips? no. limited ankles, no. none of that is subjective.

I can tell you, when I opened my figure, one of the first things I did was try to equip his bow with the instruction sheet. The darned bow broke in half with barely any pressure :(
He was my first figma(along with my personal fave, Gwendolyn). I was very sad. The clawshot broke a year later.
Special Agent Washing Tub I think it’s supposed to do that. They come apart so you can put it through the figures hand.
@@Young_23 I know what you're talking about, but no. The peg that attatches both sides of the bow is what broke. I didn't state it very clearly. It's easierfor me to describe now though, as the Link Between Worlds figma also has that issue with his hookshot.( main difference is that the peg was on the smaller part of the handle, so he can still hold it with no problem.) One of the actual claws on the clawshot broke.
Special Agent Washing Tub oh damn sorry to hear that 😢 that kind of sucks, but maybe you can get a replacement. The peg that goes into links back for his scabbard on the SS link broke and stayed in the hole. I took pictures and managed to get it out, contacted customer support, and they sent me a scabbard at no cost!

Special Agent Washing Tub I contacted the company good smile directly. Maybe try that. Idk about their amazon but that’s what I did and it worked so worth a try. I went to customer service and emailed them with the figure info and images of what happened. They replied pretty fast. Then again this was years ago. But still, a bummer 😕. If you try it hope it works!

I'm in awe that this made it in before OOT link.
Personally, I've always wanted a more muscular Link so the jacked pecks don't bother me at all lol. In fact, I like how this figure looks more than the actual in-game model.

The Skyward Sword Link figure looks cooler. Something about his hair here is off.
Twilight Link didn't have that hair. It was more tattered and windswept. He generally looked meaner.

fitolink To be fair, there are people who have necks longer than average. In fact there are even people that have even longer necks than Link here.
Plus, while it may not be completely accurate to the in-game model, it doesn't look bad to me. Besides, Link is a different race from us human beings, so it can be excused as his genetics are different.
Figmas are non-scale figures, so of course their proportions are gonna be off.

you know what you should do anthony have a rating at the end from 1 to 10 like ign has because everyone trusts your ratings but not always will sit through the 10 min video (i know, but hey thats how it is) so if you did that youd get more views maybe and definitely more subscribers and we would still watch the whole video for figures were interested in but if were not really interested in one we would just go in check the rating and if were intrigued we watch the whole thing.
