We used match book covers to adjust the points on old VW’s. Lol. Video. Is there a good way to move the motor to adjust the points ?

Just turn the key or press the starter button quickly with the cap off. Repeat this and check to see if the plastic piece is on the top of the lobe. It may take a few tries but will eventually happen. Easier than manually turning over the engine.
