I picked up 2 of these yesterday for $29. each. I know they are not the best in the world, but for what I want it for, it is perfect, especially for the price I paid. I just use it to check email, watch You Tube and chat, so it is perfect for me. I added a 64 gig SD card and now have all the storage that I will need for quite some time. Also, importing all the apps from my phone went smoothly so there was very little setup that I needed to do to have a functional tablet.
Ive been an Amazon tablet owner for 3 years until one day it gave up and no power shown. So like any budget saver I went to the onn tablet section. They had many on discount (7 inch only) 10 of them on stock and got one. It's best to wait to get the tablet on clearance sale or black Friday. Performance is good maybe a bit better compared to Amazon. I might go back and buy more or until gen 4 comes out later in mid 2024/2025
As the 2 previous generations of the tablet... Just good enough for the basic stuff, no more. Basic media consumption, not too demanding casual gaming, as an ereader. The only redeeming qualities VS the Amazon Fire tablet is that is basically a clean install of Android 11 Go and not tying you up to the Amazon ecosystem.
I would like to see how it does as an e- reader. Can the Kindle app be downloaded on this tablet? Also is it strictly Wi-Fi or is there a cellular version to?
I’m curious to know how this and the 8” are for reading or reading apps? I’m mainly looking to read on. I tried the Samsung A7 lite and it ran slower than my kindle fire 8 7th gen….. The apps I’m looking for are kindle app, nook, Libby, and hoopla.
Worst touch screen I've ever used, sometimes lags so bad have touch every button twice, buttons near the bevel can't be used, sometimes have to restart tablet just from keyboard problems. No GPS for navigation sucks bad too. You get what you pay for though, 3\5
hey i got this tablet today but no matter what i do i cant pass the google assistants page in the welcome screen wont go away. the power button and volume button at the same time page. what could i do?
How does this compare to Lenovo M8 3rd gen? I'm trying to decide between these two, gonna be used for some social media scrolling, e-reading, and youtube.
Looking at this or trying to use it as a tablet a tablet in the sense that we think of tablets today would be very disappointed I believe. In my opinion this is an E reader with some perks
This tablet reminds me a lot of 1st gen Nexus 7 back in 2012 with better chipset/Ram and a camera. I think apart from being a kid's tablet this one could be used as a decent Navi or infotainment system in car if you don't have one. Nice review, btw.
Ive been back to these tablets and get more of them until one of them gives up. Also can we talk about how these r 60 to 29$ that's pretty good that's equivalent to 2 Samsung tablets instead I can get 3/4 onn tablets instead
Just want I needed to use as a separate dedicated device for Spotify and podcasts that way I don’t have to use my iPad and just leave the onn attached to a wall or on a dock .
Bendiciones, de la nada encontré con la tablet con la pantalla negra, pero dejo volumen y apagar, y se ve la pantalla normal y después vuelve a negra, que puede ser?!
You'll need to ask whoever set up your internet with the wifi password. If it was a company that set it up for you, you're password might be on the bottom of your router.
I stopped in a Walmart day 2 of our trip across country to pick one of these up. I figured you know this might serve as a cheap alternative to stand alone GPS. Not at all. Extremely disappointing. It doesn't even have Google maps installed and you cannot download waze on this tablet . I downloaded Google maps and within 2 minutes, before even loading a destination, was alerted that the GPS signal was lost. That happened in Orangeburg South Carolina, now that that trip is over and I'm back on the East Coast it's happened in Wilmington Delaware . I don't think it has anything to do with the location. I think it has everything to do with the tablet. I will say that I gave this a go with my 2012 Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet in Philadelphia back in 2014ish and had a very similar experience. So this may just be a marketing ploy/agreement between the google and manufacturers of The legacy GPS makers (tomtom, garmin, rand mcnally and so forth) to keep people from using their tablets as dedicated gps Systems. Tomtom and Garmin & other standalone GPS systems typically cost less than a new cell phone but about as much as Or more than many available tablets. Considering that you only get gps nav and map updates, for the money + monthly subscriptions, It would certainly be cheaper to employ an old tablet as a Dedicated GPS and dash cam. You'd have more apps at your figertips. An old phone would be better but for some reason And a old phone is more attractive to thieves than a cheap tablet. While the fact that it's clearly not an ipad makes it not worth the time, The possibility that it might be an iPhone makes it worth it to bust your window; go figure. Guess I'll just sit the Onn Gen3 on the wall as a dedicated Google Assistant and digital clock. Maybe I'll try my S7 as the primary GPS device/Dash Cam or the acetel burner that is more clearly NOT AN IPHONE🤣🤣🤣

Nice video! These Onn Android tablets are actually very nice for the price at Walmart, I'm looking to get one next month! Thank you for sharing!
Glad you like them, i've got one more to review next week hopefully
Great video!
Im just disappointed we don't have an HD screen on these tablets yet and the fact that onn tablets don't have widevine L1 yet
Yeah I know what you mean. Thanks for stopping by!
@@FishBeeProductions Your videos are awesome. Also could you please do this tablet vs the new fire 7? Thanks!
Is this good enough for youtube, light web browsing, social media, etc? I know it's not going to be fast.
yes just a little lower resolution and slower than i would like
Like looking at a photo frame with those bezels.
I don't know kids are so tech savvy I don't think even young kids would be happy with it
That reminds me of my 2 yr old niece who knows how to use tablets already lol

Can someone please tell me if this tablet is slow & how long does it takes to turn on, thanks in advance? 🙂
I think its a good choice for kids does it have a durable case as well
it is only 60 bucks and i believe with those huge bezel and plastic build would be totally okay with drop and yeet by the kids
Does this have a note taking feature that can be used with a stylus?
Runs way more smoothly than my tcl tab 8 le 😅

What 7 inch tablet would you recommend for stream Xbox games from console to tablet
thats a tough one because there's not a lot of options out there and usually low specs
