I love how realistic and open you are about everything. We need more of this type of content. I think sometimes the amount of pressure that is placed on all of us is just absurd and to think that you are just expected to function like you did before having a child at work sounds crazy to me. I think it really helps to see videos like this and realise you are not alone with your struggles
Absolutely 👍 This a was a real wakeup call for me when I became a parent. I just couldn't believe how blind and ignorant the industry was to the working parents. Hopefully there is a brighter and more supportive future ahead 💛 Thanks for stopping by and the support on the channel 🙂✌️
I had to get my partner to confirm my writing, emails, quotes, etc at the end of my pregnancy and postpartum 😂 thankfully no brain fog with my second baby
Haha, love that! You really need a village to get through it all ✌️ And that's so interesting about the brain fog.. do you think your body has learned to just cope better with everything that goes on?
Currently my little one is 6 months old and I am trying to get my own business up and running. the office I was working for doesn't have work for me, so I am basically unemployed at the moment. I'm truly struggling with if it is even worth it, but everything is so expensive and we have other kiddos to take care of on top of the baby, so the income is needed. I stayed home for many years because child care was too expensive too. I loved your video and wondered if you have child care for your girl when you are working from home? I am trying to get stuff done while at home with baby and just cant make it work. If I have a meeting and he goes with, then I can't concentrate at the meeting. much love from Wyoming!
Ahh, I feel your pain! Life is so expensive these days. We had help from our grandparents with childcare so for most of the time our daughter was in the nursery part time. It's a never ending juggling act and 6 months post partum is still super early. But I know where your need for 'getting on with it' comes from. I was exactly in your shoes. For me self employment was the way but we as a family and individuals have made a lot of sacrifices to make it work. And we're still trying to figure it out day by day... Not sure if this helps in any way.. but just know that what you're going through is what every other parent is dealing with right now 💛💛 sending lots of positive vibes! Hope you guys can figure it out too!
