What's up guys! In this episode of Beyond Reviews, our host Blake reviews the Hori Tac Pro Mouse and Mechanical Keyboard!
Overall, it would have been best if there were instructions in English! But, it's very easy to put together to get started on playing Battlefield 1. We do want to calibrate it more to enhance gameplay, will work on this next!

Nothing beats mouse-keyboard combo in FPS.. it is more..
1. Accurate.
2. Faster/quicker reaction time.
3. Aiming is easy.
Than the console controller.

In my opinion controllers are amazing for casual games such as racing games since Steering wheels and pedals are expansive but keyboard and mouse are phenomenal for FPS games for a better price.

Buy a xim apex “ its better”
Not sure if you did but you needed to max your i game sensitivity, for Battlefield it takes a decent amount more messing around with the in game settings
Turn of dead zones and put sensitivity to 100 it should make it feel more responsive

My problem isn't the mouse part of the M&K it's the moving with WASD I'm looking forward to the anilog stick with mouse aiming.

Just as good as Xim but you get the mouse and wand included and still use your wired head set
Can use keyboard if you like but I use left side of ps4 controller so dont lose rumble .Its just as good as pc and a massive edge

What do you reckon would be a better choice? Using a XIM Apex or buying dedicated kb/m for the PS4? I only wanna play games like God of War and uncharted, I don't dare go near online fps games on a console. I'm so bad on the controller that I even fail in games with light aiming.
Adam B if you’re only playing those games then use a controller, they’re better for those types of games and MnK excel in fps. if you’re not good with a controller just get better with it over time it will happen

Can't find the Xbox one version anywhere. I currently use the keymander mouse and keyboard setup but this looks better.

You can, but there a certain functions and buttons on the mouse it comes with.
Gyakuroku Tonny if you’re going to buy a mouse adapter, buy the Xim Apex, it’s 100x smoother and way easier to customise bindings
You can but the mouse is actually quite good. I had a g402 hyperion fury and the mouse is as good as that on PC. The issues this will encounter is due to it emulating an analogue stick not the mouse. If you have your own mouse and keyboard you might be better off buying a xim4
JDM how long did it take you to get used to playing keyboard and mouse when you got the xim apex?

Awful in general.
The only thing consoles have going for it really is the Analog movement, it helps with stealth and driving games alot more than the wasd keys, If I could get Analog movement on a device like my Logitech G13 and still have all the buttons for shortcuts and a mouse for aiming that would be the ultimate setup, It really puzzles me that we don't have that these days without having to download a bunch of weird programs or use a controller in the left hand

Sorry doesn't have a spacebar.. I know what you mean about the spacebar! :) hehe but it does have a button that's close to it that you press to jump but nothing like a spacebar.

Does 3.5 surround sound work on hori tac4 ?
I think sound is only from the headphone jack, have never tried a3.5 surround sound.

it's not for pc, for ps4 :)
It's plug and play, so plug in your hori tac pro and then press the playstation button icon to use it and select the user in the ps4 console. Good luck and see you on the battle field! :)

lightbar for dpi sensitivity also turn off...it wont turn on anymore..
That is not good.. sorry to hear that.. did you try contacting the store you bought it from? There should be no problems like that happening when you change mouse sensitivity.

pc gaming, specially shoting games shouldn't migrate to console gaming ...because consoles don't have the required input like pc have ,,like mouse and keyboard ! Pc gaming are high movement gaming that u just cant keep up using the late 70' input method even with the latest joysticks ...sure they look good and they got all these buttons ...but they don deliver on speed and accuracy like a mouse does ! that's why its kind of cheating to play against a joystick using a mouse !

I was trading shots using sniper at cowboy's duel distance with other sniper. And both of us run out of bullets without a single hit on each other, then got into knife fight. lol, was awesome. But controller is very bad aim, compare to CS in old days with mouse and keyboard.

Memphis according to their website hori.jp yes you can use this for pc but why spend all the extra $$$ just use your pc keyboard and mouse 😊 as for just the keypad only, the tactical assault commander series all comes with mouse. I have friends who have used both the tac four and grip and they both are having problems up to now, updating and playing with it.

Hey man it’s all good :) sorry but we haven’t tried using it on remote play, as we would have to plug the horitac pro in the PS4 console. Don’t know how to do that :) thanks for an excellent question though!
I think it's a mute point whether keyboard and mouse are better than controllers for different games especially FPS's. I think it just depends on what you're comfortable with. I've always had better luck using a controller for my pc games.

I would have to disagree with you. While I too am better with a controller than with a mouse, there is a reason why every tournament-level pro FPS player uses keyboard and mouse. It simply allows for more precise aiming.

You must have some crazy good stick sense, then. Because it's physically impossible to outperform mouse aiming, simply because it's faster, more precise and enables you to do flicks, while the controller does not.
