- Today’s video is dedicated to my very good friend Cr0me. He’s really cool and encouraging and was actually one of the people who inspired me to start making videos in the first place so I owe a lot to him. So for his birthday I made a video for his favorite Marvel villain…and one of mine too lol. I really recommend checking out his channel if you haven’t already as he makes a lot of great videos and wish him a happy birthday.
So Baron Zemo in general is actually exactly my type of villain, he’s a ruthless, intelligent and elegant guy who is skilled in hand to hand combat, has a wonderful desire for world domination, and really hates the hero he fights a lot. To me it’s a perfect villain. Unfortunately, despite being one of the main and most dangerous antagonists to Captain America and even all of the Avengers as a whole, he only has a few different media versions for some reason. So because of that I used both the main people to use the title which are Heinrich Zemo and his son Helmut instead of giving them separate videos (although personally I prefer Helmut because of his design and character development in the comics). I do enjoy the versions of Heinrich and Helmut in Avengers EMH and even Avengers Assemble, United They Stand and the Disk Wars anime a lot. Not the MCU version though (wow big surprise), that version is basically a completely different character that has Helmut’s name slapped onto him and just lacks pretty much everything that makes me like Zemo so much in the first place. Anyway now I am working on Bill Cipher due to the results of my poll which I am almost done with so hopefully he can arrive soon sometime in the next few weeks.

Now that? That was awesome! I think you summed up really well why Zemo is so awesome. I especially like that in most versions, he always has his own plan in the works, willing to betray or use any asset to his will. The song works especially well, and the visuals are really on beat! That intro is probably one of (If not) my favourite of all tributes. Awesome job and thanks a ton, couldn't be more thankful to have helped such a talented Editor!

Very good one!, Zemo is one of my favorite marvel villains in all Marvel (have to say I didn’t knew about his existence until Civil War lol), my favorite version of him is in EMH, I hope Cr0me loves it :)

Amazing work for Zemo. He's one of my favourite marvel villains especially probably my favourite versions of him was EMH version it also was introduction to character as well as many others marvel characters and MCU version I found him very good character I know many people don't like him because it was just a random guy unrelated to original character but that didn't stop me from loving him!

An amazing video ! Hope that Cr0me will appreciate it! I personally like Zemo. Not my favorite Captain America villains ( this title is for another character XD) but still definitely in top three. This song is very good for him and the editing is very very good! Looking forward to Bill Cipher and I can’t believe we are talking about weeks and not months for the next video Lol

Interesting and good tribute to Zemo man! I’m not familiar with most of them besides EMH and MCU’s Zemo’s the one in Assembled seems nuts with them god powers lol. Currently a fan of the MCU one and while it was a shame the mask was random in FATWS Zemo’s character makes up for that for me and I’m looking forward to seeing what is done with him in the future

Excellent tribute for my favourite Marvel rogue. I love Helmut and his story arc (before later writers threw it away and turned him back into a villain because Superhero comics hate character development. Dammit!)
MCU Zemo could have worked better if his father was the main villain in the Firdt Avengers film and in later films his son would form the Masters of Evil to get revenge on the Avengers. I know I should judge a character on their own merits but I find it hard to believe that MCU Zemo was able to orchestrate everything for a year! Sometimes it is better to stick to the fucking source material. I mean on his own mcu zemo is ok but I still prefer the comic version.

Good Tribute. I think the best version of Zemo from EMH (Charismatic bastard with good motivation) . The worst of the MCU (It's not even Zemo, but a left-wing man who was given the name "Helmut Zemo)

Zemo in the comics before Brubaker has to be one if not at the very least my top 5 favorite comic book villains mainly due to his natural character development over the course of multiple decades abd with different writers no less. Its impressive what they pulled off at all. Helmut Zemo is one big reason why I like the Earth 616 timeline. His look is one of my favorites too.
His media appreances I mainly just like EMH all though his other animated ones seem cool.
Oh god, MCU Zemo, where do I even start? The guy is basically a bargain bin Punisher knock off with the pettiest of motivations in that the MCU never dealt with people losing loved ones in the aftermath of battles before CW. The MCU does this a lot where issues will get brought up by the villain yet there is no actual proof before the movie they are in. The lack of foreshadowing makes it laughable They just come as self centered pricks. Back to Zemisher, the guy seems to be based on Garth Ennis' pisstake of a comic, "Punisher kills the Marvel Universe". I never thought the MCU would actually use that dude's dislike for superheroes as an inspiration. Plus his whole character was pointless in CW because all existed for was for Tony to watch a stupid video.
"There's never been another man like Steve Rodger". Yeah says the guy who tried to get him in a death match with Tony. There's not even a, "I wish I didn't have to kill you Steve". The MCU has the foreshadowing of an ant lol.
I would be less hard on the Zemisher but I got to deal with his fanboys so much that I am sick of it.
I agree 100% on Comic Helmut. He had a great character arc before Brubaker threw it in the bin. I like Ed but he ruined Zemo and future writers would only make it worse.

People hate the Civil War comic event a lot but Zemo apologizing to Cap during the event might just be one of my favorite comics moments ever, it felt like they rewarded the reader for sticking with the company for so long.
Yeah, Brubaker kind of turned Zemo into those weird things in wrestling where the heel would mess with other wrestlers that are friends with his former rival but never messes with his former rival directly. It just seems like they written in a corner.
To me, Zemo most logical next step is the be an actual good guy.
@@civilwarfare101 Zemo becoming a hero would have been great but knowing Marvel they would have found a way to ruin it. Sandman briefly became a hero but some writer ruined that by turning him evil again. So much potential for new stories, wasted.
