We were just there, in this resort from May 30th to June 6th. I'd say the resort itself is pretty nice, maybe 8/10. Very convenient to walk to the lobby, the gym and the restaurants. Nice beach and pool areas. Buffet food was not great in my opinion. I'd say 5/10. I don't really care for sweets or fruits. I'm more into the low carb/meats and protein. Meat was on the dry side, the better meat that they grilled near the beach area was usually not enough for all people. Burger patties in the buffet had a strange taste. Bacon in the mornings was very salty. I love bacon at home but their bacon was not near the level I expected. Restaurants had better food, I'd say 7/10. I used the gym for running in the morning, and this was a disappointment. As 2-3 treadmills had issues with them, such as the treadmill would just die (dead, display off) on me mid workout, another one would just stop. One other treadmill had a mismatch between displayed speed and actual speed. For instance, when I set it to 6.3 mph speed, it felt like it went to 10-11mph instead. And these were persistent problems (i.e problems that I experienced when I was there). The staff would just reset the machines for the next guest to try their luck with. And I wasn't even pushing the machines that hard (usually ran 6.3 miles per hour at 1.0 incline), and I'm around 220lb.
As someone who has visited the Iberostar Dominicana Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, I can confidently say that the experience depicted in the video is truly reflective of the incredible time I had there. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality from the staff, setting the tone for a memorable stay. The resort's stunning beachfront location offers unparalleled views of the Caribbean Sea, and the pristine sand and turquoise waters create the perfect backdrop for relaxation and enjoyment. Whether I was lounging by the pool, indulging in delicious cuisine at the numerous onsite restaurants, or participating in the various water sports and activities available, every moment was filled with joy and excitement. One of the highlights of my stay was the luxurious accommodations, which provided the perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and stepping out onto my private balcony to watch the sunrise was truly a surreal experience. Overall, my time at the Iberostar Dominicana Resort exceeded all expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tropical getaway filled with relaxation, adventure, and unforgettable memories.
I have been on many holidays since I went here 15 years ago. This has been my favourite up to now. Greece in September and possibly Dominican Republic or Tenerife in November. Then Jamaica next year
Unfortunately not yet 😁 They both share the same beach. Better quality shades on the beach. Rooms seem to be bigger and roomier. I guess you are paying more, so better quality 😜
Hi, the food was good; I have no complaints about it. However, it was a bit challenging to find a chair and shade at the beach, especially closer to noon.

Great video, thanks! What month did you go? Looks like you had a fair bit of rain. I take it the rain wasn't constant though? We are thinking of going here in July, I know July can be quite wet though...
Hi, thanks for your comment. We went there in February. During our 7 days of stay, the second day was raining the whole day. Another day we had a bit of rain after lunch only. You are right. Rain wasn’t constant. I’ve never been there in Summer. Hope if you decide to travel there, you will enjoy the experience and weather will be nice 😁❤️
@@TravelwithParisaThank you for the quick reply! Can I also ask - are the rooms very far from the pool/lobby/beach? Do you need to use the golf buggys to get around?
@pjwilson83 Oh not at all. You don’t need to use golf buggys to get around. Rooms, beach and pools are all close by. There is also an elevator in buildings. If your room is upstairs you can use it to reach ground floor and pools area.

Yes, each room has Iron inside the room.❤
👏👏👏👏

How far was the casino to the resort?
Right beside the Lobby

I see in your video there is a lot of sunscreen at the store on the resort, do you know what the prices were like?
@@joannejoe1 Hi, I don’t remember precisely but definitely more expensive than Canada. It is better to take these items with you.
@@TravelwithParisa thank you, I was toying with the idea of taking only a carryon. Lol
I had the same idea initially, but after seeing the prices, I decided to only buy when absolutely necessary, just for emergencies. 😁
I appreciate it if you could subscribe my channel ❤️🙏🏻
Would you consider this a massive resort? I don’t like huge resorts where they use golf cart to get around.
Hi dear, not at all. It is not like that. We only needed golf car when we arrived with luggages. ❤️
Are they any bars 24/7 or the latest one is the one in the disco that closes at 3am?
Yes, there was a 24 hour snack bar with few options - pizza, burger, sausage, fries, etc.
Hi! Hat es vielleicht eine Bowlingbahn falls es regnen sollte und eine Disko für die Kids" LG ✌️

@@TravelwithParisa I think most resorts people wake up at 6 or 7 am latest to grab these
Exactly same here in this resort

What's better Iberostar Dominicana or Royalton Punta Cana?
Hi dear, unfortunately I’ve never been to Royalton Punta Cana
Royalton..I was at both!
@@cipitm1 I have the same opinion, but wanted to hear other's people opinions. I also think Royalton Punta Cana is better than Riu Republica.
