Although I feel more productive and focused when I don't retain the semen, I view masturbation as extremely important, since it can stop the urge to go out with people you don't know and think more clearly about what I really want, in terms of sexual relationships.
am 50 male and still play on my own, since i was 13-14, until recently i was at it multiple times a day... So don't stop yourselves from self play, even if its daydreaming of whatever or who ever...
Unless masturbation is taking over your life and makes you not want to talk to people, you can do it as much as you want and I love it. It doesn't effect your health at all
@MA-xi9bh Wow...even though there's some truth to your response, it does not help with the point of this video at all along with the point of my comment. I don't know if you're a bot or not but let's not make people (man or woman) feel bad about masturbating.
I grew up in a situation where such things were never mentioned. Not any bodily functions. It was all a big secret. I was in college before I heard any of this.
This discussion on semen retention and sexual health is important, considering the widespread misinformation surrounding the topic so thanks for your videos. From my perspective, many of the myths about masturbation and ejaculation stem from a lack of scientific literacy-people often struggle to analyze research critically and instead seek an easy answer and a 'common cause' for their personal struggles. As far as I’ve seen in the literature, there isn’t conclusive evidence that moderate ejaculation negatively impacts health, testosterone levels, or cognitive function, however I haven't explored the topic in depth yet. However, subjective experiences of fatigue or low motivation post-ejaculation might be linked more to dopamine homeostasis rather than hormonal imbalances. Dopamine fluctuations, especially in relation to motivation and reward processing, could explain why some individuals report feeling less driven after ejaculation. The role of prolactin post-orgasm is another interesting topic, but it remains unclear whether too frequent ejaculation significantly alters baseline prolactin levels in a way that impacts long-term motivation or energy. It would be interesting to see more accurate scientific literature in this area.
I also find it worthwhile to consider that this may have nothing to do with religion or religious beliefs. Rather, religious tag is attached to leverage faith-based credibility. And when you do that, it is very persuasive. These talks usually start among friends, who themselves had heard this from somwhere else. And that "somewhere else" are also people who are uninformed. Next time you hear someone talking about semen retention or anything else, just ask where did they hear it from?
No, you dont want them. People that do have wet dreams are not concerned from religious reasons. Problem is in dreams, in (after wakening) unwanted acts with "wrong" persons, ugly, sic, fat, wrong age, sex, etc. Everything that turn you off on when you are awake.I had that things when i was young, and those were nightmares every time.
Sorry that happened to you, but has never been the case for me. It can be pretty nice. And unless you’re unloading a ton and you sleep naked, you don’t need to clean your bed.
It's kind of mind-boggling that men in India think that too many nighttime "occurrences" and repeated self-love sessions will cause senility, yet somehow don't apply that same illogical conclusion to normal, repeated coitus with their wives.

Dr. Rena, doesn't the scientific evidence show an effect where testosterone levels in men increase up to 7 days and peak at the 7th day, as long as one doesn't masturbate? Doesn't this contradict the claim in the video that "withholding masturbation doesn't increase testosterone"?
Not sure why there is no scientific evidence about semen retention, but I personally can see a lot more energy and motivation when I'm doing semen retention
@@amolootieno-pala2129 well, some would likely be reabsorbed - through the skin because of laying there for a while. But it's about as much as sweat might be reabsorbed though, which is very minimal.

Try semen retention before taking advice from these women. Stay strong gents.
If you want your testes to stop working, then sure… don’t listen to medical doctors…
one night i was scrolling through my phone, feeling like i’d never figure out why some people just seem so magnetic. then i came across this book, Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and something about it caught my attention. reading it was like turning on a light in a dark room. it’s not about pretending to be someone you’re not; it’s about unlocking the energy you already have. trust me, this book is worth every page
I respect you doctor but you have never practiced semen retention. There is physical as well as metaphysical benefits. I am a Christian. All of the benefits are true. You should do your own study with a group of men. I have lived for 40 years. It works! Stop discouraging something that you have never experienced.
This is what studies are for. But you believe science is from the devil.
Oh so naive. Just clueless. So laughable.
Prove her wrong
@@elishawilson5342 He can't give you evidence. A weirdo with no medical training on a podcast hosted by a standup comic told him not ejaculating gives you superpowers. That all he's got.
@@billix0 I mean he deleted his comment so that tells me everything right there
@@elishawilson5342 i sent you a whole reply with a link, she has deleted it, not me.
there was a time when i kept wondering why some people seemed to naturally draw others in while i was just…there. no matter what i tried, i couldn’t figure out how they did it. then someone mentioned the book Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and i decided to check it out. the way it explains how your aura affects everything around you? it blew me away. it’s like having a secret code to unlock your magnetic energy. this book is a game-changer.
i used to think being magnetic was just about looks or confidence, but i couldn’t have been more wrong. i read this book called Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and it totally changed my perspective. it breaks down the energy and mindset behind true attraction in a way that just makes sense. once i started applying what it taught, i noticed people reacting to me differently almost instantly. it’s seriously worth a read.
