I always cut the cable before crimping, that way the sharp cut ends are safely covered at the edge of the crimp sleeve.

Nice complete and versatile package with the interchangeable and replaceable tri cut and pencil point tips and necessary rigging hardware! Ive used it and I feel like you gotta be targeting big game or strong fish. If not its overkill

Why pollution the ocean with lock tight chemicals?
Just use a locking washer, or copper wire in the threads to lock the tip?
