My favorite part about this is that even with no idea what the Sumeru plot is about or who Nahida is, you had the same reaction to her as seasoned veterans who were up to date with the story when she was released and who knew more about her situation- ‘now we’re playing to rescue Nahida and give her friends’ kind of reaction. Lmao
everyone thinks she is like a Druid or a Baby of forest, they will never know that she literally is a fu'kin god
Wanderer or scara's banner is currently in the wish menu alongside itto after this phase it'll be raiden shoguns and kamisato ayatos rerun banners

@@jonathangoodwin5609 There were only 5 until Thighnari's banner ended in 3.0 then he's added to the standard 5 star roster. And that was 2 years after the game started open beta. *edit* typo, it was 2 years not 3 years.
LOVE TO SEE THE TIGHNARI LOVE! You can actually get him whenever, he's one of the characters you can "lose" to the 50/50 too like Mona, Jean or Diluc! Pretty neat, right?!
So many standard characters and i somehow still only have qiqi c1 and diluc c3😐

I knew Tighnari was gonna be on the standard banner but I couldn't resist it haha, I already wanted him before knowing that so I pulled on his banner. Got him at somewhat early pity on 50/50 though

you're totally right, most of the trailers you watched here are characters from sumeru, which is inspired by the middle-east, and it also has a desert part which is more inspired by egypt and north africa. it's such a pretty region because of the contrast between rainforest and desert.

Nahida's story/lore is indeed sad, but her demo's isn't containing only sadness, its also containing epic and cute, all of them at the same time, so his judge at the start didn't wrong at all,,

Nahida, Nahida is a special one. I have her, would love to explain more about her, but don't want to spoil anything. She has a Teaser video too, but it won't make much sense till you get to Sumeru and finish part 2 of the Sumeru Archon Quest. Let's just say there is more to her than it first seems from looking at her, one of my top 10 Favorite Characters (Zhongli, Ganyu, Raiden Shogun, and Ayaka are some others in my Top 10).

I’ve been wanting the wanderer since 1.1 so i was getting him no matter what so I spent $150 when he came out lost 50/50 and went to 80 twice

Don’t worry about tighnari coming back, he’s on the standard banner so you can get him at any time. It’s most likely that you’ll get him from losing your chance of getting a 5 star limited character. That’s where people mainly get the standard characters from. Every time someone doesn’t get the 5 star they wanted when it’s a 5 star pull, you’ll get a standard banner character or a 5-star weapon.

you can currently get the flying wanderer. And if you lose the 50:50, you have a chance (1:5) to get the guy with the ears and tail ;) both are great and so fun!!

The way you immediately get hyped for Wanderer pretty much sums up my experience lmaooo he's my first 5 star and I don't regret pulling for him (yes, even if I had to skip Raiden for him)

Tighnari is actually added to the roster of standard banner characters, so you can get him for losing 50/50 or in the Standard wishes banner

Btw, each region in Genshin is based off of a real world country. Mondstadt is Germany, Liyue is China, Inazuma is Japan, and Sumeru is Saudi Arabia/Egypt. All of the characters in this video (except Wanderer) are from Sumeru, so that explains the Arabian/Egyptian vibe. X3

For The Wanderer, that's not his actual name. If you've reacted to the Raiden Shogun Trailer Demo, he is her child. His actual name is Scaramouche, technically he have alot of names.
For Nahida, you should really watch her Teaser, "Happy Birthday Nahida". She may look like a child but you'll be surprise on who she actually is.
Also if you want Wanderer, then i suggest start pulling now, his character banner is right now. you cant get him anymore when his banner is over unless he got a banner rerun

I have played it a few times after the first video on stream, though it’s mainly to roll on characters so I have them when I actually do start playing playing lol. I’m getting back to it now tho, I’ve played twice on stream this past week already 😊
Here’s my advice for the Genshin Impact community:
People have the freedom to interpret their friendships and relationships as long as they don’t shove their “canon” headcanons down people’s throats and be toxic about it (I’ve seen a lot of westerners cherry-picking information to justify their ships to look down other ships while being hypocritical and having double standards).
I’ve unfortunately seen several new players reacting to Genshin Impact demos and chat would say things like “This character’s wife!” / “This character is gay and lesbian!” / “These two characters are siblings!” and “This character is a minor!” which isn’t true and is honestly repetitively annoying.
I understand that Hoyoverse had made one game where most characters are canonically lesbian or bi (I’m not sure since I haven’t played it) but just because it has canon lesbians doesn’t mean it’s the same for Genshin Impact, and a lot of people have misinterpreted that it’s the same for Hoyoverse’s other games. Tears of Themis is an otome game similar to Mystic Messenger (I’ve seen it but not played it) which is demographically towards girls.
I honestly recommend not interacting with the community and just do your own thing, mute and block tags and people so you don’t see their content, etc.
No ships are canon and Hoyoverse loves to ship bait and do fan service.
The way how I see it from canon lore (and this is just my opinion), the characters can be bi for canonically flirting with the Traveler (whether you play as Aether or Lumine) or having romantic feelings for them (Lisa, Kaeya, Ayaka, Xiao, Childe, Albedo, Eula, Yae Miko, Yanfei, etc from archon quests / story quests / voice lines / birthday mail and so on).
They don't understand love (Shenhe, Gorou and Ei from the archon quests and story quests).
They're not interested in romantic relationships because they don't see the appeal of it or they're too busy (Ningguang, Jean, Rosaria from their character stories / story quests / and so forth).
People in the toxic side of the community would force their headcanon as “canon” that several characters have a “parental and child” relationship, which isn’t true at all if you read the lore.
Xiao and Zhongli have more of a lord and servant relationship; Kazuha and Beidou are just friends; Collei and Tighnari are comrades, etc.
The “teenage-looking” characters are adults unless it’s stated directly such as: Kazuha is canonically an adult since he drinks sake (Japanese alcohol) and Scaramouche / Wanderer is less than 500 years old.
The only characters that are confirmed adults are Aether and Lumine (the Main Characters), Archons (Gods), the tall models (whether they’re male or female), The Harbingers, Scaramouche / Wanderer, Hu Tao, Yoimiya, Amber, Albedo, Faruzan, Kazuha, Xinyan, Ganyu, Xiao, Collei, etc, there might be more but I don’t remember any of them but these are all facts from archon quests, characters’ lore, weapon stories and limited events.
The rest of the characters’ ages are ambiguous since there’s a chance that a young-looking character could actually be an adult while an adult-looking character could be younger than they seem and so forth.
Just keep your headcanons to yourself and don’t force it upon others. And it’s fictional anyways.
