I’ve jumped out of an airplane and I enjoyed it-But this somehow I find really kind of unnerving!. The thought of falling into a crevasse is just on a whole different level of frightening!. Great videos of up and down the Icefall. Well done!.
Awesome video! Love that there is no unnecessary music deleting breathing and boots crunching. This is a thing i am to old and ill equipped to do. What splendor. Kudos
I just got done with base camp there's no words to describe how much more capable these sherpas are than ordinary people. Until you been in this climate and situation you don't realize these guys are superhuman.
They're not superhuman, they come from the region. If you were in shape and spent 6 months there, you'd be just like them. Not taking anything away from them though.
Absolutely amazing! None of the other films on Everest come close to showing what it's really like on the Ice Fall. Thank you for this astonishing, stunning footage! We enjoyed and were awed by every minute of your video.
Remember too.. that ice is MOVING over four feet down a day. So it will be different when you climb back down a few hours later. This can be very dangerous cause the size of them causes almost explosions of ice blocks the size of cars. It’s a brutal place to be.. but beautiful like a dream. Surreal.
Hrs breathing heavy because hrs probably exhausted from climbing down from jet stream altitude. Some people don't even make it back down to this part of the mountain. So he's lucky he's breathing at all. I salute you man. Everest Is no toy. The Himalayas are so awesome. Earth is such an amazing planet.
It’s also 50% of the oxygen then at sea level.. so it would be like you or I climbing up a hill but only can take one shallow breath every five seconds.. it’s brutal. And without oxygen your muscles can’t heat you.. so you freeze from the inside out. The Himilaya are a brutal place to find yourself.
Yeah, Earth is ok. But of all the planets where I've lived, I'd have to say that Neptune is better. It's a great place to live, once you've gotten used to breathing helium & methane instead of oxygen. Sure, music there isn't as good as on Earth, because every singer sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks, but everything else is better.....
I would easily die in this kind of activity and environment. Many thanks for doing it and giving me an idea of how it is.. Take care always! Be safe guys!
That’s why they call them “Trailblazers” the guys who go up and secure the first fixed lines and carve out steps.. dangerous work. They also have to pick the best route.. which is nerve wracking for many reasons, the least of which if someone dies they’d have some guilt even though that happens often.
You've convinced me NEVER to attempt this haha. I am happy someone is doing it though so that I can live vicariously through them hahaha. Great Video MAN!
That is freaking amazing. I've watched other videos of the ice fall. Not nearly and thorough as this one and every time you guys look like little ants in that massive place. Thank you for giving us this amazing video.
Interesting to see porter/guide does not latch on to fixed rope. I guess, he knows what he is doing. Video footage is awesome, never saw khumbu ice fall during the day. I thought you cross this in the night.
Superb video. Thinking of climbing Everest? If nothing else, the video clearly demonstrates the extreme strength, stamina, and courage required to attempt Everest, or any of the 8k meter peaks.
I learned more from this one video with no talking than 50 videos of the usual chatter. You can actually feel the struggle. Thanks for posting this. Were you able to summit?
descent , no wide crevices needing extension ladders the falls are known for, i dont think these were tourist climbers, just professional sherpa descending to base , very nice though, thank you
How do you know this was made AFTER reaching the summit? I’m not trying to be a jerk, did it say somewhere that he was on his way down from the summit?
@kenbaker-ps6ej interesting. Somehow I understood just the opposite. Either way, it's easy to hear the strain in his breathing as he films this, yes? Just getting to Everest base camp is a milestone in my opinion!
I agree, mama. It’s weird calling you “mama”. Your point is very valid. I believe when they acclimatize and then make the push for the summit, they must cross the icefall around 10 times (5 up and 5 down). That is a lot! Way to much work for me. I’m not lazy. However, there have been times when I slept on the couch because I didn’t feel like climbing the stairs to get to my bed. 😉
This might be a dumb question to some but I am not a mountaineer... which is more difficult, the ascend or descend? Thank you for uploading this without music!
I’m not a mountaineer either and I don’t know which is harder but I do know that most accidents/falls/deaths happen on the descent. Of course they happen on the ascent as well but most happen on the descent. Hope that helps! :)
Decent by far. 75% of the deaths happen on the decent. Either people use all of their energy getting to the summit and die cause they can’t get back out of the death zone quick enough. Or, the traffic jams in the death zone causes them to run out of oxygen quicker than expected and they die on the way down. When your body doesn’t have enough oxygen the muscles can’t keep you warm.. you freeze from the inside out. 😮 Remember too, by the time you’re coming down, your body is literally half dead.. so one misstep can have you falling over 10,000’ 😮
I'm not a 'mountaineer' either but I did the 3-pass trek (which includes Everest Base Camp) and found descents more challenging... (but not always!) Depends on various factors... (but often more mental than physical)
Bro's dying and the sherpa who's carrying the heavy load it's just another walk in the park RESPECT to the Sherpa without them NO ONE would be reaching the top of Everest besides them!
I hate crevasses so much. I’d rather get crushed by a serac, or buried by an avalanche. I really struggle with them. Just something about being swallowed whole by a big crack in the ground. I try to stay as far away from them as I can, but sometimes they’re unavoidable.
I just love how strategic they are !! No time to stop and ponder on the dangers around you. Keep moving forward as you trust your guide. Our Lord Jesus Christ has equipped these Phenomenal Guides with amazing intuition.. All the best to you all as you aim to reach your goal. May The Angels Of The Lord guard and keep you safe 🙏❤
White rope on top of white snow is not very helpful. There are miles of all colored ropes for sale in the KTM shops. You can nearly outfit yourself totally from these mountaineering shops.... Right before I flew home I sold my down jacket and some other stuff to a used shop.. Arriving, you can outfit yourself nearly totally in KTM.
Why don’t we all try to put a 10-12stones person on our back ant walk through the forest at least, not on top of the mountain and see how the breathing will be easy to control and stay quiet all the time so it will be comfortable for people to watch the video. Just hypocritical thinking, nothing pleasant around
I had to turn the volume down because I didn’t want people to think I was watching porn…again. As a side note, one of the crevasses reminded me of a lovely lady I saw previously on that porn site.
First pov video of the icefall I’ve ever seen- really cool!.👍🙏👊
I’ve jumped out of an airplane and I enjoyed it-But this somehow I find really kind of unnerving!. The thought of falling into a crevasse is just on a whole different level of frightening!. Great videos of up and down the Icefall. Well done!.
Look at the sherpas.... unimaginable fitness
It's acclimatisation, not so much fitness.
@@TheSaxon. Agreed but obviously you have to walk on ascending terrain...
Perfect. No people talking. No effects and wild audio only.
Awesome video! Love that there is no unnecessary music deleting breathing and boots crunching. This is a thing i am to old and ill equipped to do. What splendor. Kudos

Not at all how I've always imagined it. Fantastic videos.
Amazing video! Its crazy that the sherpa's can navigate and set the trail up 😮
Absolutely amazing! None of the other films on Everest come close to showing what it's really like on the Ice Fall. Thank you for this astonishing, stunning footage! We enjoyed and were awed by every minute of your video.
Glad you enjoyed it!

i really wanna climb mount everest or if not i just wanna get to the base camp,i love the vibes of this mountain ❤🥰
I’d be happy just to climb a flight of stairs without stopping halfway to catch my breath
Да,какой грозный ледник!!сплошной ледопад,огромнейшие серраки!!Восхищаюсь вашим мужеством,профессионализмом!!!
Thanks guys from an armchair mountaineer. Great video one of the best I have seen. Admire your courage and dedication.

yup. I've been to the other planets and you're right, Earth is most amazing. Pluto was too took, chilly.

Каждый сам выбирает свой путь, но от Вашего пути можно сойти с ума.
The most beautiful place in the world, that's why you have to suffer to experience it. Thank you for this video.
Really adventurous Khumbu icefall crossing . We enjoyed the video very much
This reminds me of the time I was going to hike Diamond Head. I turned around in the parking lot. Best to know your limitations.
The beauty takes your breath away. I've found nothing else quite like this on TH-cam 🙏❤️

Many thanks for doing it and giving me an idea of how it is..
Take care always! Be safe guys!
Huge respect for him....deep breathing and consistently walking.its very difficult to walk at such height and harsh condition.big salute man
Thank you for sharing, very scary for me to watch this , but also beautifull
Glad you enjoyed it
Fascinating
Front sherpa doesn't even using rope for secure him. Man he is so cool

Спасибо за Ваш фильм! Верно говорят, что этот ледопад самое опасное место на Эвересте!
amazing the contrast with smooth open areas, and then an impossible jumble of shattered pieces
Superb video. Thinking of climbing Everest? If nothing else, the video clearly demonstrates the extreme strength, stamina, and courage required to attempt Everest, or any of the 8k meter peaks.
Yes, thanks
Thank you for this amazing video. I felt like I was right there with you. Thank you for taking us along on this magical place.
Преодоление этого участка пути, уже большой подвиг. Удачи ВСЕМ АЛЬПИНИСТАМ.
Incredible footage. Got the thrill sitting at home. Did you also summit?
STUNNING ...
Exactly what I was looking for🍏
Welcome to Nepal , Land of adventure 😊
My admiration leans towards the Sherpa’s! Can you imagine picking your way through this without a well worn path or guide rope? Amazing video!!
I learned more from this one video with no talking than 50 videos of the usual chatter. You can actually feel the struggle. Thanks for posting this. Were you able to summit?
27.1 min, Good to hear urdu/hindi, very humble people
Glad you enjoyed
Simplesmente maravilhoso que imagens lindas. Como eu gostaria de um dia estar neste lugar, felicidades.
Finalmente, um vídeo da descida.🙂
Good on you Sir, good on you. ❤

Kar har medan fate jai hind bhaiya ji
descent , no wide crevices needing extension ladders the falls are known for, i dont think these were tourist climbers, just professional sherpa descending to base , very nice though, thank you
I wonder if all these ice are moving down everday so who laid all the rope?
Какая красота
Carry on Bhai🎉..
Well done mate , but fair play to the, Sherpa
Good job, loved it
Thank you!
And this AFTER climbing the highest peak in the world! I can feel your exhaustion!
How do you know this was made AFTER reaching the summit? I’m not trying to be a jerk, did it say somewhere that he was on his way down from the summit?

Ke bonito video, ke travesía tan difícil. Ke montaña es?
Monut Everest
Terrifying 😮

@28.23 omg look how close the left foot of the ladder is to the edge
Amazing visuals about the huffing and puffing is really distracting from this footage,
nice job!
Thank you! Cheers!
🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️🙇♀️
Can someone please explain to me why they cross this crazy broken ice and dont travel at the edges along the solid rock up and down the valley ?
Because from there, climbing is impossible due to slope
Only thing i think of... I want to do that too. If i die on the way.. dont care..at least i died with the best view on this planet
No one will accomplished much without the sherpas
the porter/sherpa in front, not latched on to the rope, and apparently finding the entire thing a breeze. unlike the poor sod holding the camera 😁
Homie gasping for air. Porters taking a smoke break
What was the hardest part of the climb?
I hate crevasses so much. I’d rather get crushed by a serac, or buried by an avalanche. I really struggle with them. Just something about being swallowed whole by a big crack in the ground. I try to stay as far away from them as I can, but sometimes they’re unavoidable.
What is the chances for icerocks to come loose
The sharpas is need to be paid a hell of a lot more! Like they need their own gratuity per person That they are carrying their stuff for
One of the guys is with no gloves?! How is this possible?
It's called being a man. I work the majority of the time in winter at 25°f with no gloves. They are at the base of the mountain at similar temps.
You are breathing so heavily and those two sherpas are quite as a monk chit chatting along the way.
Dukkhale banayeko mountain tiger
Damn sounds horrible why would you do that.. Cant even breath!?
And people CHOOSE to do this?
Dont get lost there
I just love how strategic they are !!

Fuck Jesus
Fuck God
They did it on their own.
Religion is for chumps.
You're a chump.

The heavy breathing = no
sherpas do the true work.
Do that without them.
Everyone can climb everest with sherps and oxy
Wow you breathing so heavy and you are not even half way reached yet. Are you sure if you are even fully fit ? Or is this normal at his altitude?
Why don’t we all try to put a 10-12stones person on our back ant walk through the forest at least, not on top of the mountain and see how the breathing will be easy to control and stay quiet all the time so it will be comfortable for people to watch the video. Just hypocritical thinking, nothing pleasant around
I was panting the same way...and I stopped at Base Camp (and KP summit). Thin air.
Why to ge there if you are going with full protection sherpas and all there is nothing special ure doing just making your life risky
I had to turn the volume down because I didn’t want people to think I was watching porn…again. As a side note, one of the crevasses reminded me of a lovely lady I saw previously on that porn site.
