I'm Filipino I'm really thankful because I see this fruit at the back of my grandparents house and always enjoying eating a banana's heart because my grandfather always cooked dishes using banana heart like tortang puso ng saging, tinola with Mongo and pork, also he cooked ubad with native chicken.

Actually you can eat unripe banana. Since they're in the jungle, get the unripe banana,peel the outer layer, cook it in coconut milk,and add coconut juice to sweeten it. It'll be a dessert. Ofc if there's sugarcane,that'll be bomb!😂
