Let's be honest here, a lot of these songs (Eric Saade and Sean Banan in particular) are labeled "daycare pop", i.e. popular among daycare aged children, and we all know how small children like to listen to the same song over and over and over again.
W is pronounced as V in Swedish so Wiktoria and Viktoria is the same just stylized
Sean Banan is actually a dancer and a really good one, such a pain with the singing....
Abba entered in 1973 (Ring, Ring) and came 3rd. The year after they participated with "Waterloo" and we all know what happened. They didn't enter the competition again after that, they for sure didn't need too. 🙈
#30, #23, #17 and #7 are all extremely prevalent and popular university party songs. Most with corresponding group dances

It's also a popular song (although there's remixes too) in the epa-community around sweden, that could also be a reason
Well Sarek as well as Timoteij are quite popular on the country side, just like many other Swedish(language) songs with a catchy chorus. Given how popular Brandsta city släckers have been the past few years I'm honestly a bit surprised it didn't make the list. Last time the veteran car rally drove trough here there was no end to these songs...

Digi digi ding dong, “Sean Banan”, 😂 is a really professional coreagrafer and dancer but made “Sean Banan” after being in a Swedish comedian show making people laugh… All the children absolutely loved him including my daughter at that age she was then. Look out his other songs, they’re funny and catchy! 😁 He’s not really a singer but made some fun music. 🤗
I was like ... Will I finally see somewhere Samir och Viktor and I did. 3 times. Sadly they are not active anymore. and also sadly Norlie och KKV never partitipeted in Melodifestivalen.
The song with 7.1 streams last year is because it is a club song here in sweden where the public add a line about AIK- one of the biggest fotbolls teams in sweden and that we hate them. So thats why it has so many streams 🤷🏽♂️

I think not. Melodifestivalen is the swedish selection. You're confounding it with Eurovision song contest becasue we casually often call it the same in swedish.
