My uncle, a veteran, due to the treatment he received to recover from his injuries during a battle, cannot have children. He has since raised 20 children through foster care and adoption. He raised me when none of the rest of the family could deal with me. The fact is he votes blue and has since before baby Bush. We will still be voting blue, since the republican can't seem to come up with a better idea then kiss rich people's bottoms.

Unfortunately, people hold all sorts of completely incorrect beliefs about reality, because they don't understand how science works, and those beliefs dictate their actions, including who they vote for. It would be silly of me to say "Your belief in climate change should be kept to yourself and not evangelised about or weaponised or voted on" - yes, I know the key difference is evidence, so it's not a great analogy, but if you already don't understand the requirement for evidence and you hold unevidenced beliefs, you will still act on them as though they are true. This is why we have Jihadis blowing themselves and others up fully expecting to be rewarded with paradise and a bunch of virgins, or a right-wing Christians forcing 13yo rape victims to give birth fully convinced it's what their own invisible sky daddy requires for their supposed eternal reward. So you see, it's not as simple as saying "don't brandish it". People will always "brandish" their core values and beliefs. I am a Canadian and a confessed childless cat lady (I have two adorable boys, by the way). I have been crushing on Pete B for quite some time now and think he is hands down the most appropriate person not only to run as VP with Kamala but also to be the President at some point in the near future. He is articulate and can speak in compound-compels sentences. He is COMPLETELY prepared to answer ANY questions put to him with measured thoughtfulness and fullness of ideas in those answers. He has fought for his country under fire and I am sure if, in movieland firepower the country was attacked by dire enemies or grotesque aliens, he would calmly and collectedly step up as leader and save the day. He is brilliant. He is a committed husband and father. He cares deeply about his country and its future and knows and understands the bigger picture as an all round leader, not just his current area of transportation. Oh wait! I have just described the Anti-Trump! He is everything that Trump is not! So, had I been in that audience, I would have been jumping up and down applauding Mr. B!

However, the car less pay for roads, those with four vehicles pay for public transportation, the disabled pay for baseball diamonds, those who never fly pay for airports, etc. We are, whether we want to admit it or not, sharing this space and are in it together. Those who want to divide, much of the right and almost all of MAGA, are too simple and too bitter to grasp this fact. They want the amenities which benefit them only. What they don't like is deemed a freebie, a handout, junk that lesser people want for free and therefore unnecessary.

Ever since he entered the national stage, I have always been fond of Pete. When Kamala became the Democratic candidate, he was the first VP choice that came to mind. Pete Buttigieg is the perfect person to act as the point when speaking to people through the media. He does an excellent job of communicating the Democrats' policy successes and future policy ideas. It's great to see someone speak clearly about what the Democrats are doing for everyday citizens.

I'm 62 and I have no kids, nor do I want them. I've always thought that single people get no tax breaks, or any type of incentives from the government. However, I have voted in every election since I was old enough and not for scumbags like JD Vance. That's how I'm making my contribution to society and making sure that people like him do not get elected.

I have been crushing on Pete B for quite some time now and think he is hands down the most appropriate person not only to run as VP with Kamala but also to be the President at some point in the near future. He is articulate and can speak in compound-compels sentences. He is COMPLETELY prepared to answer ANY questions put to him with measured thoughtfulness and fullness of ideas in those answers. He has fought for his country under fire and I am sure if, in movieland firepower the country was attacked by dire enemies or grotesque aliens, he would calmly and collectedly step up as leader and save the day. He is brilliant. He is a committed husband and father. He cares deeply about his country and its future and knows and understands the bigger picture as an all round leader, not just his current area of transportation. Oh wait! I have just described the Anti-Trump! He is everything that Trump is not! So, had I been in that audience, I would have been jumping up and down applauding Mr. B!

However, the car less pay for roads, those with four vehicles pay for public transportation, the disabled pay for baseball diamonds, those who never fly pay for airports, etc. We are, whether we want to admit it or not, sharing this space and are in it together. Those who want to divide, much of the right and almost all of MAGA, are too simple and too bitter to grasp this fact. They want the amenities which benefit them only.
