I started out with getting 2, then after 2 years one of that cats got into thw bird room and got 1 of them. It was so sad, i was devastated , & i could tell my girl budgie was heart broken. 💔 i thought of getting her another friend, but never found/saw another budgie i liked enough to get. It took over a year, but now my budgie girl is so tame and adorable (not that she wasnt adorbs before hand) shes just cuter now that she gets on my fingers and plays with me. I can pet her and hand feed her. She has come such a long way from not wanting ANYTHING to do with me while she had a partner, and for a long time afterwords. Just keep trying and be patient and calm. I wouldn't change our bond for anything now. Im so happy she is as tame as she is now and im proud of her and myself for all the work we've put in together ❤️

I had 2 females and the bigger one controlled the whole cage, i felt so bad for the little one, only in its last days did the bigger one actually care and love for her. i still miss her

We bought our first one 3 years ago. After one week we bought another one, for him to have company. The new one died 2 years later last February and after one week we bought another one so the first won't stay alone.

I raised two Lutino Cockatiels brother sister we had so much fun and loved each other 🐦🐦 Ethel was 12 years old when she died and Fred the Lutino Cockatiel was 20 years old when he died.
