Oh, far easier! With the initial upgrades everyone is equipped to dealing with everything thrown at them, when the first mission has a lot more room for failure because of unlucky dice.
16:40 huh? Did you use Jazz's training for BTS def? But it only says hacking action! Hm... interesting choice of equipment. Will you swap pistols between Jazz and Uma? Great editing, can't wait for mission 3!
Good catch on Qiangs roll, my mistake there. Will remember that for the future. I believe you cannot swap equipment that has the characters picture on it, so I will not be able to swap pistols. So that I can hopefully release these a little faster, I am looking at reducing the length of these and cutting down on the information.
Sorry to dig up this video, being so old, but my group played this mission last night. We're trying to learn the game again. I realized that we used the wrong Taigha Pitbull last night, and I think you did too, correct? The Jayth Pit Patrol card instructs to use a "Pit Patrol Doberman," which is a more powerful profile card, rolling OYY*. Can you please let me know if I'm understanding this correctly? There's so much to keep track of in this game, it's hard to feel like I have a good grasp on the rules so far. Also, when enemy units are removed from the map, does their Initiative card remain in the deck or get removed? Thanks!
There was an FAQ and Errata on the Corvus Belli website that corrected the fact that a regular Jayth Pit Patrol is supposed to spawn the weaker version of the Taigha, and not the Doberman. It has also been a while for me, but iirc the initiative card is kept in the deck until the end of the round. You then reform the initiative deck with whatever enemies are present on the board.
During the debrief, you only gave Uma a fourth point, but the end of mission states "EACH character receives..." then final bullet states "1 intel if YOU possess Gwailo head." Shouldn't everyone get a point? I don't recall seeing this errata'd. Sorry, not trying to nitpick. Just making sure I'm playing right by comparing to your play. haha. Love these videos.
I don't have the rules in front of me, but this is where Corvus Belli can be a little unclear in their rules writing. I take it as 'you' referring to the player whose character killed the Gwailo. If it was each player getting a point for it, it would state each player.
@@ZombieSashimi have you played much of the game past mission 3? I noticed you’ve focused your points mostly into gear for your characters, skipping the ship upgrades. I’m interested to see how that balance pans out over the course of the campaign and what strategies around that aspect look like. We dumped most of our mission 1 points into enabling consequence healing, but so far haven’t seen much of a demand for that. Kinda feeling like better gear would be a stronger boost early on
@@MarkYale I have played to about mission 7 out of recording. I go for doing high damage early, as killing stuff quick allows me to not get tar-pitted and increases my chances of scoring more points for spending later. Also, without a doctor it is difficult to heal. He comes in mission 3 and that’s when I start healing consequences.
Thank you! More more more!
Haha. I will get right on it… after a short siesta 😴
Great job!
Thank you! 🙏
Awesome work!
Thank you! ❤️
Awesome
You’re awesome! 😎
Amazing work once again!
Thanks so much!
Well done!
Thanks! 😃
I really enjoy these videos. They are great!
Thank you. I am happy you like them.
Fantastic work as usual, dude!
Very kind of you. 🙏
Really lovely work, you're really raising the bar with this. Good job!
Thanks. I aim to make the animation even smoother for the next one… when it releases… probably in 2030…
@@ZombieSashimi that soon? It'll be worth the wait.
@@thedicegodswg Haha, because I have said it, that means it will probably come out later!
Excellent. That grenade proved really handy! Did you also find that this second mission is a bit easier than the first?

@@ZombieSashimi Ah yes, the errata/FAQ. I clearly missed that. That doc is up to 20+ pages now. LOL
