Abrites Diagnostics for VAG VN023 in action - odometer calibration in IC with RH850 MCU

Hello, friends!
In today's video I am going to show you what I managed to do with my ZN085 programmer together with the Abrites Diagnostics for VAG VN023 function, and it's just awesome!
The ZN085 programmer I used to reflash the VAG dashboard so that I can unlock it for mileage calibration, I had to disassemble it and read its MCU. The reading and writing procedures may take circa 5 minutes but if you're patient enough, you'll surely get the job done. Calibrating the mileage was needed because the IC was recently replaced and needed to have its original values.Once the MCU was read, modified and the dump written back in, you can then safely continue with the mileage calibration procedure.
I need to mention that Abrites have mad a great job at providing wiring diagrams for the different variations of the instrument clusters inside the software.
What I used for the procedure, is Abrites Diagnostics for VAG Online version 34.8. To use this function, you will be required to have an active AMS in order to access the online services of the software.

the ones we support are the VISTEON JCI which come with RH850 for this license but there are many others supported as per the other license descriptions

@@twinturbo1989 "Поддържате" е много силно казано. Според съпорта Ви, точно същата версия като на снимките не е поддържана. Иначе протокола работел точно според очакванията - тоест не работи! Добре че има други производители които освен че обещават и вземат парите, действително вършат работа.
