    That oil hose will work fine, just quadruple it up and duck tape it and you’re golden! This is what I love about you guys, attention to the details that ensure a quality build. Nice! I see part 2 is up... if you’ll excuse me, on to that one!

    What determines the distance the oil shoots out is the amount of vacuum inside of the engine once the drain bolt is popped. Better ventilation in the top means a faster pour :)

    so what kit are you guys using? was it the customers choice or yours? you recommend that turbo kit? good stuff btw

    • @LHTPerformance
      @LHTPerformance  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      S2kAllDay The customer supplied the kit. We supplied the injectors, pump, clutch etc.

  • @Marks-Garage
    @Marks-Garage 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have used push fit with great success and straight away i could see that the hose supplied is not the correct stuff for push fit fittings. If you use the correct hose its rated for 300psi. Its annoying that companies building these kits dont know these sort of things. It makes you question everything else supplied with the kit!

    • @LHTPerformance
      @LHTPerformance  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, Usually the brand I use is 'PushLoc' The hoses provided wasn't it, the pressure rating on the side is also important.

  • @livedeliciously
    @livedeliciously 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I don't think most shops would have the wherewithal to know not to use those supplied oil hoses.

  • @BestCaseHypothesis
    @BestCaseHypothesis 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ugh, this makes me skeptical of turbo kits out there, can you name names about which kit manufacturer uses substandard parts?

  • @EdwardFeenman
    @EdwardFeenman 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    The value in a supercharger is the throttle response and low-mid range torque isn't it? It's an s2k, you have to drive it like you hate it if you ever want to get anywhere. That supercharger gives you enough to get the ball rolling without having to rev the snot out of it constantly.
    Especially the ap1... The gutless wonder. If I remember correctly they have nothing under 4 or 5 thousand rpm. They were also the highest horse power per liter engine ever at the time, or were they second to that Ferrari.... I don't remember which came first, but I'm pretty sure they were king with that 120hp per liter at the time.

    • @joeynachanphasuk7002
      @joeynachanphasuk7002 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Edward Agora Feenman Honda was first now 2nd after 458 by like 1 extra hp per liter I think lol . But u right my stock ap1 ain’t really shit under 5 will a kraft works full in for the mid range and up top ?

    The last couple builds seem to have gotten the FX400. Is that now the preferred clutch?

    • @LHTPerformance
      @LHTPerformance  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      MrFunk It’s for builds 450whp +

    • @GethinJames
      @GethinJames 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Roger that! I love my FX300! When and if my clutch goes on my S4 I'd get one of those if they make one that fits.

    a sick with cars friend of mine he said to me that better a safe 350whp turbo build than a 420whp s/c..not only the turbo 350whp it will pull way way harder..but reliability will be at the same level

    • @LHTPerformance
      @LHTPerformance  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      commantros exetlos That’s Awesome. I have a friend that’s sick of cars and he said the buss is much more reliable and you won’t have to worry about repairs. I have another dude sick because cars and he said there’s no cure.

      @@LHTPerformance but but.. say a proper lower hp build turbo at 350-380whp..vs s/c 420-450whp...the only difference is torque...but a proper build is a proper build..s/c is just easy not better..and 350whp with turbo vs s/c cost is the same...i know you build proper s/c set ups...but for me a s/c s2000 at 400whp is very very slow for 400whp and no torque..thats my opinion..what do you mean s/c is more reliable? a turbo+intercooler and all the good quality staff at 350whp it will beak very easy vs a 400whp s/c? well better dont answer...dropping the clutch from a dig it will fuck shit up even stock...why you dont tell people how faster is turbo with even way less hp

    • @LHTPerformance
      @LHTPerformance  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      commantros exetlos As you may pick up by my response, I have no desire to debate this. Based on your comments you’ve never driven both side by side and don’t have real world experience of either. You can’t make a valid point with just ‘ I heard this ‘. I’m not here to sell you on either kit, I’m selling our quality and TLC

    • @commantrosexetlos4700
      @commantrosexetlos4700 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LHTPerformance no brother i aint looking for a fight..and i am sorry if looked that way..no i didnt drive them side by side i only had a ride with a 7.000 turbo build with pistons-rods at low boost 360whp and i can tell you it was pulling way stronger than the 400-450whp craftwerks sc i saw in youtube..the thing i notised is that no matter how much power you have with a sc from 350-450whp the time from low to red line is almost the same..while that turbo one it was at rev limiter 2 times faster than the 420whp sc..and that with 70 whp less

    • @LHTPerformance
      @LHTPerformance  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      commantros exetlos OK, No worries. We’ve built and tuned both. Many many times. Power for power I think the Supercharger feels faster as it mimics the NA Type Power band and pulls harder the more you rev it. Depending on the turbo kit, sized correctly the lower down power may feel faster as it pulls more down low. I choose the Supercharger over the turbo kits for a ton of reasons. I’ve gone over this on the channel somewhere.
