I thought new zeeland looked hopeless against Mexico. But some respect for the big improvement against the USA, and salvaging a draw. They badly need to stop giving away possession though.

Rewatched the 2016 match against Mexico, that was an amazing game. NZ ran themselves ragged, chased every single ball down. Complete commitment from them, maybe the coach needs to play that game back to the team.
@@UU.002 while I agree that theh cannot always rely on luck, it was the fact that they kept them to 1-0 and creating that dangerous opportunity that resulted in the draw. Considering the US got outplayed by Canada at home days before, I wouldn’t even say this is a shocking result.
